Of course Rules don't count here for people who live together, since - I quote - "last time we checked, someone's house is still private space". If you live in a family with three kids for example, you're of course still allowed to go and take a walk or something, as long as you maintain proper distance from other people. Since both getting fresh air and at least stay moving are both vital parts of one's general health, quite a lot of people are doing so and luckily most people do keep their distance. About inviting people into your house, the quote was: "The advice is not more than three people at the same time, and only if you can manage to keep 1,5 meters of distance between each other." phelps 6,862 Posted March 26, 2020 #2004 Share Posted March 26, 2020 by the way, here in Italy, after 3 consecutive days of downwards trend, today the number of new cases has gone back rising... 4492 new positive tests (more than 2500 in Lombardy), 662 more deaths and 999 new recovered people... total number of currently sick people is around 62,000 and we also have 10,300 recovered people and 8500+ deaths in total... konig

And that is such a massive problem. It sounds cool to be able to do quick tests (temperature check here, some quick real test there), but first the Diamond Princess showed that doesn't work well (half the cases there didn't have any symptoms, so also no fever) and if you have a large amount of false negatives...that means there's a lot of people with the virus walking around thinking they don't have the virus. There you go, your next and bigger problem.. Here is: you can be outside ALONE and only for essential activities like buy food, you cant invite nobody in your house.....of course, faithful to our idiosyncrasy, a 20% of the population are doing whatever they want..... heywoodu

Wait, 4492? I read 6100+ half an hour ago...they mentioned the exact same number of deaths (662), so I wonder how come there's such a difference in the number of cases. Luckily most people aren't really inviting people to their homes now, with some exceptions but then it's generally only one or two people with distance between them. I'm glad this part is an advice instead of a 'law' here (for now), it's a rather slippery slope if you start enforcing laws about how many people can be inside one's private house. Again though, luckily most people here aren't being that stupid. konig 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
