Yep, If the Renaissance is considered one of the, If not the biggest, turning points in European history. It brought Europe out of the Dark Ages (Later Medieval Period) and into contemporary history. It’s where most American European history courses begin.

I found history class to be full of interesting stuff, but not the Renaissance.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony. 
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
