It would be very, very hard to earn a medal in the all-around competition. Two Americans, one Russian is the most likely podium. I can definitely see Rebeca Andrade or Iordache getting into the mix if anyone faulters, but it's still going to be something very unlikely to happen. I'd say 5% chances for Iordache.

Beam is a lot more unpredictable and anything can happen. Iordache has not displayed consistency on beam in the last few months, but if she hits two times in a row, who knows? I would say a 5-10% chance here for a medal.

My contenders for a medal in the AA final:

 Biles 98%  Lee 80%  Listunova 60%  Melnikova 50%  Yushan 50%  MDJDS 20%  Andrade 20%  Iordache 5%  Murakami 5%  Gadirovas 5%.

Not as lifeless as the one from the 2011 World Championships, but still, by far, my least favorite venue in the last 5 editions of the Olympic Games.

Larisa Iordache  will compete only in beam because she has great pain at the ankle. Well, her luck is absolutely amazing … but she is a warrior and I hope she can earn that medal.
