Track Cycling at the Summer Olympic Games 2020

Recommended Posts

Thing is, all those guys are sprinters, so none if them want to race more than 200m.  If you can take it long, you’ve got a chance.

Canada to have a better Summer than Winter Olympics incoming

I fear for Beijing. Predicting worst performance since 06, but I thought we'd win only 12-15 medals here.. and they had the most successful games ever, so what do I know lol

Wow Canada becomes first country to have two different champions in the women's sprint. Who would have thought that?

Canadian sprint cycling went from zero to amazing really quick.

With the fun exception of....Glaetzer, who's also an excellent 1km rider. It really was on him, by the time the rest was allowed to overtake the pacemaker, Kenny was already long gone.

She is the world record holder... definitely a medal contender

World record set at ridiculous altitude. She was a big prospect for sure but she we really had no clue how she’d do at a major event.

By the way, I must say I've grown rather fond of the background tunes during the medal ceremonies. Sounds very...medally and full of a kind of glory :cheer:

Lol the field just donated gold to Kenny.

You mean he didn't need to knock anyone over or have the race restarted because he wasn't going to win (still bitter!)

To be fair, at the previous world championships she already pushed Voynova to a decider in the semis, she had already performed very well at the highest level :p

But yeah, definitely not the most expected winner here, to say the least.
