With the fun exception of....Glaetzer, who's also an excellent 1km rider. It really was on him, by the time the rest was allowed to overtake the pacemaker, Kenny was already long gone.

To be fair, at the previous world championships she already pushed Voynova to a decider in the semis, she had already performed very well at the highest level  

But yeah, definitely not the most expected winner here, to say the least.
