Rafa Maciel 1,397 Posted August 25, 2023 #731 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Keeping on with the tennis retirements - Mikael Ymer (although to be fair he was in the midst of doping suspension so perhaps not huge surprise)
Belle 730 Posted August 25, 2023 #732 Share Posted August 25, 2023 More tennis retirements. Mikael Ymer, 24 years old, retires from all professional tennis. This after he was suspended due missed doping tests. TBH I will not miss him https://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/a/8JK07E/tennis-mikael-ymer-lagger-ner-karriaren Josh
Rafa Maciel 1,397 Posted August 28, 2023 #733 Share Posted August 28, 2023 Beginning to feel like this is just becoming the Tennis Player Retirement Thread but here's another one - former World Number 8 Jack Sock has announced he will retire from tennis after the US Open. Although, it is possible that this will be less of a retirement and more of a switch in sport as he is reportedly set to join the pickleball tour. Noorderling29 121 Posted September 26, 2023 #740 Share Posted September 26, 2023 Former double 200 meter World Champion (Athletics) Dafne Schippers (NL). Not very surprising as she’s been suffering from back trouble for years. Monzanator
