Is it normal in taekwondo to fake a leg injury? And why would one do that? I mean, what kind of advantage could you get from that?

Well, I already compete in taekwondo years ago. The most common was "value" injuries to rest and also to break the rhythm of the opponent. In addition, he may made it trying to force a punishment due an opponent irregular blow. I can not remember more reasons.

 

A punishment for this is not common, but if was very blatant is possible.

Kimia qualifies , still it was disappointing to have only 4 athletes in TKD. I was expecting 5 or 6. but that's it. at least all of these 4 athletes are strong medal favorites.
