heywoodu 13,560 Posted April 16, 2016 #41 Share Posted April 16, 2016 Is it normal in taekwondo to fake a leg injury? And why would one do that? I mean, what kind of advantage could you get from that? http://www.rappler.com/sports/specials/olympics/129747-ph-jin-books-ticket-rio It's what Muhammad Fareem of Pakistan did apparently. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Well, I already compete in taekwondo years ago. The most common was "value" injuries to rest and also to break the rhythm of the opponent. In addition, he may made it trying to force a punishment due an opponent irregular blow. I can not remember more reasons. A punishment for this is not common, but if was very blatant is possible. MHSN 3,221 Posted April 17, 2016 #45 Share Posted April 17, 2016 Kimia qualifies , still it was disappointing to have only 4 athletes in TKD. I was expecting 5 or 6. but that's it. at least all of these 4 athletes are strong medal favorites.
