And at least, boxing is somehow entertaining to the non educated eye

I just even remembered that wrestling had been removed from the Olympic program in February 2013, before it was reinstated for sport inclusion seven months later. So shameful for the wrestlers.

nope nothing can beat Boxing :p

but the difference is the judging isn't that easy in boxing which opens the door for so many corruption  , while in wrestling it's not that hard. we have less problems in freestyle while in Greco-Roman there are still so many corruption because of not clear rules

Drop greco-roman then. Problem solved :d

It was recommended by the IOC 10 years ago IIRC

PS: as you seem to be a wreestler specialist, do you know if France has ever failed to qualifie at least one greco-roman wrestler to the Olympics ?

Exactly. Add more freestyle events for both men and women, and the program has already set.

^ That's not going to happen, yes that's true IOC recommended that long time ago back in 2004 if I'm not wrong but in general Greco-Roman is more popular around the world (not in my country though) specially in Europe. Lalovic (UWW president) himself is from Serbia, freestyle doesn't even exist in his country :d

Would it been that much of a hurdle for greco roman wrestlers to switch to freestyle ? For the uneducated eye (again), the difference in techniques or physics doesn't seem that obvious.
