Portuguese media are getting desperate and extremely frustrated, as lots of nations have already a Coronavirus case in their countries, even in Spain or Brazil, and nothing appears to happen in Portugal.

Every day they came up with more possible cases that ended up as negative, which makes our media very sad

Maybe Pastel de Nata (portuguese typical pastry that we ate regularly) works as natural repellent of the virus?

Yeah same here, medias are very desperate.. One governor even welcomed Chinese tourists with fanfare and gifts

Perhaps swimming in flood water created an antibody

It would be interesting to know the positive tests / total tests  ratio per country in Europe but apparently no one has collected the data in one place...

I dont know about positive tests/total tests ratio, but there is this nice dashboard with info regarding the infected places, deaths but also total of recovers from the virus

so good luck for them and it is good news for Tokyo 2020:cheer::clap:

Just a few days after Moderna who will most likely start testing on humans in april.

Would be a bit surprising if we're already able to vaccine within a few weeks.

So in Italy they had done 8600 tests until one day and a half ago with positive rate of about 3,7 % by my count.

In UK they had already done 6536 tests on 24 February - as of today 15 cases, so very few positives

Spoiler

In France, where they found the first positive before Italy, 17 positives and 566 negatives (link , that's about 3% but not many tests and a very different approach compared to Italy and UK - so it looks like the French are smarter and won't admit that they're fucked unless it's strictly necessary).

With proper testing, sure. If it shows bad side effects, it could just make it worse to rush it through.

So there was already another company that claimed to have cracked the code?

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
    • Here's my calculations of the quotas. I believe you are correct about Italy having 3 quotas in men's singles.   Men's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:   data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==   Women's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Men's Doubles   2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Women's Doubles   1 Quota:
