While we await for ceremony, we can talk about tomorrow's watching priorities. :)

As expected, first day will be a bit stressful for me as I'm eager to watch eventing (which is time consuming), but I'm also eager to watch other events such as men's road race (gonna be a big conflict between these two!!). :d Swimming's evening session is also something I don't want to miss + watching Croatian athletes as much as I can.

I'll watch other stuff too of course, but I'll just plan that as day goes.

Looking forward to starting off the day tomorrow with rowing heats and the men's road race. Canada plays in women's basketball and soccer later in the day, and one of our beach volleyball teams goes off in the morning, not to mention the rugby sevens in the afternoon. Excited to catch some of the gymnastics qualifications, team archery and judo in between. Then to finish the night off with the swimming finals and some more beach volleyball.

I will try to watch most of the events (except some of them which aren't interesting to me) but it will be difficult to watch my favorites (athletics and swimming) because it will be very late in the night here... (thank you very much NBC )

Today I'm jumping a lot between the events such as fencing, water polo, and archery. I'm also going to watch field hockey :NED VS :ARG. I'm a huge sports fan so watching olympics is kinda hard but fun for me

I watched all football matches in short version from first two days, then ofcourse opening, yesterday my main goals were to see all medal events (at least with a short delay), all our athletes and maybe some team event action (especially football, handball, basketball and water polo).

I am not so eager to watch swimming finals at 3 am, I rather go to sleep at midnight and see swimming finals and all other late activities in the morning. The only exception will be, if one of our athletes will compete in finals or next week with athletics.

My schedule on the tv today will most likely be something like this:

Rowing

Handball: Sweden-Germany

Swimming

Handball: Denmark-Argentina

(Something not decided yet)

Football: Denmark-South Africa)

Swimming

Meanwhile on the computer, I will at least watch (there will surely be more, but I haven't decided yet, what it's gonna be):

Cycling - women's road race

Table tennis (Jonathan Groth's match)

Tennis (Caroline Wozniacki)

She wasn’t a top-tier athlete in that program anymore. She was at the end of her career. I would personally would rather race against Katie. She’s not as competitive as the other athletes,” he said. “It’s probably really unfair to say and not really where I want to go with this but that’s where we are with that.”   Uhlaender: “If I were Canada, I would be concerned in how this coach is representing the Olympic values for his country,” Uhlaender told Fox News Digital. “He hurt a whole field of athletes, all with dreams, and this sends the message that they don’t matter unless they are number one. All athletes matter, and we all deserve to compete fairly, with integrity, and respect. He did not respect anyone in that field. “This is not about my resume or how good the athletes were in the race. This is about the fact that he intentionally manipulated the competition to hurt myself and 13 other countries because he felt it necessary to eliminate all possibility. That is against the spirit of sport and not what the Olympic movement represents.”   Isn't it great when other people's dirty laundry is aired?  /sarcasm     (I was a little surprised to see NPR pick this up, but per this article, Uhlaender preemptively recorded the phone call after receiving a text from Cecchini that said he had 'bad news' for her.)
    • Idea (that I don't want to mess with right now, but someone else can steal the idea): Could feed the docs from LA28 + Paris 2024 through AI and see what it says.  (Would just take downloading them, perhaps merging them for ease of upload, and passing it through.)
    • If you have time would love to see a sport by sport overview of the changes/new sports
    • Slowly going through the documents.   Looks like canoe slalom qualifiers will be a bit different. More kayak cross quotas which will let nations to essentially qualify two kayakers.
    • How about we choose either Rome or Milano  I hate this timeline we have entered of multiple host cities / countries. The football World Cup became ludicrous, we don't need the Olympics to join them. At least not more than they already are.

The FIBA World Cup Qualifier in P.R. is a throwaway tour- nament for Team USA after the Gold Medal Game debacle. This is the perfect environment to test the Young Guns to see who has it, who does not, and who needs more devel- opment. The 2026 FIBA World Cup in Berlin is the tuneup for 2028 in L.A. • I'm also reminded as I know Canadians are painfully aware that if figures hadn't been a part of the 1984 Olympics, then Brian Orser would have won gold.  Hamilton could have finished 4th in the free skate that year and still beat Orser who finished 7th in the figures
