What's happening in case of a tie for the last qualification spots ? 

I'm asking because currently we have 4 girls all ranked 2nd.

they go back to the qualification round score

 

if that's still tied, the time becomes a factor, as the quickest climbers have the advantage over the slowest

actually, in the past thay also allowed more than 8 climbers to make the final, but normally it shouldn't happen

however, I think the course setters are not doing a good job in this championship

 

they set up way too easy (and way too unbalanced type of) boulders and today they got too harsh with the lead routes (especially the women's one is nopt making the difference in more points, but has a killer hold that would eventually lead to too many tied scores))

At last some Italian joy in this (awful) morning, Laura qualify for the final

as I thought, they decided to let all the tied scores go through to the final, therefore we have a 9-woman final and a 10-man final in the lead events
