and probably this Colombian referee will be a bit richer tomorrow. or maybe a lot richer.

and this is what we always see with Saudi Arabia when they play in Asia. but didn't expect that in a world cup match !

Your source of fun facts is limitless. :d

Nah I thought this one is generally and globally known :d

Maybe less known is that the penalty goal of Faradj of KSA became the latest goal scored in firsts halfs :d

By the way, there are still 7 groups with teams currently in 0 points. If Egypt and SA finish tied, 6 will remain.

The biggest number of teams finishing with 0 points was at 1990 WC with 4 teams.

Uruguay is going to win against a European team for the 3rd match in a row at the WC, quite interesting change for them since they didn´t managed to beat a European team for 13 World Cup games in a row before the Brazil 2014 world cup...

and a small fun fact, when we are speaking about the oldest players, before today the record holder was the legendary Roger Milla from Cameroon who scored his last goal at the World Cup in that match as the Oldest player to play a game (once again before today ) was the only goal of :CMR against Russia in a defeat 1-6 in USA 1994 World Cup, and guess against who he scored that goal, against Stanislav Cherchesov, nowadays coach of Russia (This was his only match at the World Cups ever) :d

I have to admit KSA played much better and that was a well-deserved win. they are not that bad as we saw in first match, they are not just fighters , sometimes they just give up easily when they are behind

but the Colombian ref also tried his best to help Saudi Arabia. and I'm not just talking about that phantom penalty.
