Tye Ikeda picked up a quota in the 50m riffle 3 positions.

And this is the first time since 2008 the shooting team has been more than 2 athletes.

Lynda Kiejko with a 566 in qualifiers at the final qualification tournament in Paris. Had she done this last week, she would have qualified for the final :hairpull:

Esercitaro is competing at the final qualifier, where it would be harder to earn a quota :hairpull:

Shannon Westlake broker her NR in the 50m 3 positions event with a 580, and 584 at an event in Quebec. (Previous best was 579), This is a good sign for Paris

The 2025 Intershoot competition is over

Results: https://www.intershoot.nl/content/results-2025

TBH not the results were below average for Esercitato and Ozer. The only stand out I saw was Hejia Wang in the men's junior with 565 and 560 during qualification rounds. He won 2 golds and a silver at the event. All the 10m events were held three times

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
