Also, another contender for my idiot of the year vote is Ryan Lochte for posting a photo of himself that got him a 14 month doping suspension :d

well, I think it's too difficult to answer those questions...there's really too much to choose from (maybe Ledecka as the sportswoman of the year is a slightly easier choice than the other categories)...

but the last one...well, this is the best category ever proposed...

so, I try to choose a name at least for this one...

and actually, also here we have a lot of people where to choose from...but I'd go with that former Argentinian boxer with diabetis who died because he took part into a croissant eating contest...

I just can't imagine anybody more idiot than that...

Team of the year is a tie for me: Sweden's male biathlon team and Belarus' female biathlon team

Disappointment of the year: Justin Kripps and Francesco Friedrich sharing the 2-man bobsleigh Olympic gold

Moment of the year: Ester Ledecka's super-G gold, and the combination of the German commentary and Ledecka's reaction after the finish / the snowboard gold was kinda expected, I found that much less interesting even though she made history

LOL-moment of the year: Marit Bjoergen at the 30km classic at the Olympics

Biggest idiot of the year 1: Without any doubt, Romano Fenati and his actions in Moto2, he has no place whatsoever in the sport because one day, someone's going to get killed because of him

Biggest idiot of the year 2: Neymar at the World Cup (or in general). Everyone knew he is an insane crybaby, but at the World Cup it went to new and terrible standards, children all over the world will imitate that crap 'because Neymar does it'

Biggest idiot of the year 3: Serena Williams in the US Open final, where even after winning a gazillian Grand Slam titles she just had to steal the thunder of a young first-time winner by acting like a spoiled brat when she lost
