As we were discussing in the Suggestions thread, it would be nice to get these schedules posted at the top of threads again for events, because the official websites are always terrible. I just put this together for the World Athletics Championship. @Sindo, would it be possible to add this to the first post, maybe as a "spoiler" so that people don't have to scroll through it?

Most/a lot are, you picked one that generally actually has a pretty good and easy schedule which includes direct links to results and start lists :p

FIS or IBU is generally good as well for example, like IAAF and European-Athletics when it comes to major events.

Men´s

Marcel Lomnický  (Hammer Throw)

Matej Tóth  (50km Race Walk)

Women´s

Gabriela Gajanová  (800m)

Martina Hrašnová   (Hammer Throw)

Mária Katerinka Czaková  (50km Race Walk)

so SVK will send only 5 athletes. 6 made the standards but the Marathon Runner Tibor Sahajda decided to instead compete at the Košice peace marathon in 2 weeks (the SVK national championship in marathon) in order to win valuable points for the Olympic ranking.

2 Other athletes missed the WCH by really few...especially the 100m Hurdles athlete Stanislava Lajčáková will miss the world championshps for 0.01s :( and Triple Jumper Tomáš Veszelka for 4cm :(

You have many talented athletes, wait for Tokyo :-) ... But where the hell is Volko? How come that he did not qualify??

2 weeks after his European Indoor Champion title he suffered an muscle injury, which later turned out to be more serious. resulting on interrupted preparation for more than a month, This missing preparation was the cause he couldn´t this year run at least once under 10.20 in 100m or under 20.60 in 200m, and as you know this was far from the qualifying standard. After the last failed attempt at the SVK league finals he announced this season definitely finished for him, now he´ll start focus at 100% for Tokyo standard

:NZL Nick Willis will not compete in Doha. He was the 1st out and he should be qualified thanks the target number... Apparently they are too much wild card in the 1500 and he is out

Two men who ran under 10 seconds of whom I'd never heard before, that's rare :d

Ser-Od Bat-Ochir in the marathon, can't wait to see him start way too fast again :cheer:

And I know Samba's actual participation and, mostly, his form is a big question mark, but man am I ready for this

:NIG Aminatou Seyni is entered in the 200m but not in the 400m, her best event (but also one of the events in which athletes with DSD are not eligible...)

What’s DSD?

    • I remember when Ferrari dominated inFormula 1 in the early 21st century, the rules were deliberately changed to limit their advantage. Something similar recently happened with Mercedes' dominance after 2020. And here we have a situation where Norway is favored, if the Finns are telling the truth and that's strange – should the richest federation get some extra advantage from FIS? It's certainly better for the popularity of a given discipline to have a more diverse nations on the front, than to have 3 Norwegians skiers at the front with the rest of the world 2 minutes behind. But maybe that will change, because Norway isn't as dominant in the women's competitions without Bjoergen and Johaug. I think the situation will change somewhat after Klaebo's career, even without Rus's return. Without Klaebo, Norway would not have won the entire gold medal here: in the sprint it would have been Ogden from the USA, and in the combined race: Frenchman Desloges.   Of course, the stars like Klaebo and Phelps build the popularity of a their disciplines, but it always takes some kind of great rivalry- a great rival- for people to really take an interest that. For example, in Beijing, Phelps won 8 gold medals, but in the 100 butterfly, there was fierce competition and controversy with battle against Milorad Cavic. In Klaebo's case, this hasn't been that`s case since Bolshunov's exclusion and that certainly has some impact on the overall situation.
