Couldnt they just start running to close a gap? Even if they would get a penalty, nothing would really happen unless they get 3 penalties? they would get a direct red card (the president of the jury can watch the replays and give that sanction, if needed)...it already happened a few times, especially in some races gone down to the sprint finish... Hard Luck Pintado. Next time Brian, maybe in Tokyo hopefully really? to me it was the most shameful race of the year (youth and junior competitions included) in terms of judging... Good to know, of course that doesnt change the fact that race walking shouldnt be an olympic sport. I guess getting rid of race walking wont be possible thanks to the influence of China. I said the best Doha 2019 Race Walk event, and it was. 100% better and more fair than the 50km crap we had last weekend. Sorry. This is a fact. That last Saturdays 50km shouldn´t be even considered as valable race. because it had nothing with race walk. In comparison to this, yesterdays 20km was one brilliant jewel.
