No Egypt , despite the fact they're preparing before Tokyo for this event ! this could mean that Egyptian Federation will be banned again i think

here the news is the reason of not entering athletes for Egypt is that they didn't pay the full amount of previous fine cuz of doping ban , so they will pay the remaining 80 k and register athletes for this WCH , let's wait and see

China just announced withdrawal due to the pandemic concern. The Chinese weightlifting official social media account was still promoting participating athletes days ago so it's a very urgent decision. It's not a good sign. I'm afraid more and more withdrawal will appear.

Poland will not participate in World Championships first time since 1993. Given reason is preparation to next season and being tired after long Olympic season.
