Same goes for  on 7th seed, facing home favorites  in the quarterfinal. No way we are beating them in Paris, if we even reach the QF

really? I thought it was 8, like at the world champs 

 

however, it might be even worse, as we could pick someone very strong (like  or ) already in the first round and miss out on the repechage bracket 

 

probably, it would be better the 8-seed bracket...no chance to go beyond the quarterfinals, but at least the repechage round would be almost safe (unless pickin'  in round #1, but that would mean we're extremely unlucky )
