Medals in the individual events.

So potentially someone sets a result in qualifying match 1 in the morning, and in the night it turns out to be good enough for an individual medal?

Yes. The least the could of done was advance the top 8 to an actual individual final, but that wouldn’t be dynamic apparently.

And that was her best attempt? Ouch..

but to be fair, this is clearly our worst athletics discipline, so we are a bit unlucky that the W Javelin was selected here instead of for example the hammer throw

How are medals going to be given for qualification? :dunno:

I'm so glad there's no Dutch team in the athletics here, makes it a lot easier to just entirely skip it :p

You could also skip the entire games. ;)

@dcro Croatia has just guaranteed its first medal. You have a finalist in women’s Sambo.

Are there 2 bronze medalists in sambo?

Is Karate assigning points for the Olympic Qualification ? Or will the European Championships count for the ranking ?

Initially they had to assign direct quotas, then they removed it as a qualifying event. Now is it not even giving ranking points ? :mumble:

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
