Welcome to the nominations announcement for the 2024 Totallympics Awards, the forum's celebration of the year in sport. Over the next hour, we'll unveil the nominees for the 12 categories voted by Totallympics members, as well as look back at some of the year's most memorable moments in sports (due to the lack of votes in some categories, we won't include honorable mentions this year).

This is a great idea, but considering the low interest this year, I don't think we will have another edition of this award.

Non-Olympic Athlete, Moment of the Year and Olympic Spirit Award are the ones lacking the most. Paralympic Athlete and Breakthrough also don't have a lot of votes.

Will postpone the nominations for Monday, those who still wish can vote today.

Because of the low number of votes some categories may be cancelled (under the rule that at least two people should vote for a nominee). I may give a few more days for voting but I guess there's just no interest this year
