We have a 100 question basic knowledge test that only 50% of Americans can pass I believe it’s only offered in English, so you have a know the language enough to answer the questions. If I could rewrite the motto of the US: Ignorance, Popularity, Waste (those are our greatest values) America is (or at least is supposed to be) a land of immigrants. Ever since the 1920s we’ve lost our way.

USA has no official language, and you don’t really have to know the language to become a citizen. LA county offers ballots in 18 languages.

Because apparently we can just rant about kicking sports we don’t find particularly excising or worthy out of the Olympics I do actually like Rowing, I was just making a point there Tokyo 2020 could be the last time we see eights in the Olympics. That would be an easy way to cut quotas, and @JoshMartini007 made a good argument for it.

Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing Field Hockey, Diving, Golf, and Rowing kicked off the program, but it wouldn’t be wise. Just like how kicking the new sports off the program wouldn’t be wise.

Let’s just cut Athletics, that frees up events and quotas

There will be no women’s tournament in the 2021 World Games by the way. The IWGA hasn’t seen enough growth yet. I’m also not sure if the men’s tournament is 6 or 8 teams. The IFF hasn’t answered any of the requests for more information (like almost every sport on the program).

Artistic Swimming is safe for that reason. I do think we’ll see Mixed Duet added over Duet soon though.

It’s truly blissful isn’t it. They have to be one of the best governed sports bodies worldwide. My general rule is that people who grew up on the bottom, generally know how to better govern than those who grew up on top. Many of the people in the Paralympic movement grew up in the face discrimination, hardship, etc., so they want to make things as free, as fair, and as equal as possible. If you read the article I posted a few days ago, you can see that the IPC is always looking for ways to improve the sports they govern. It’s so refreshing, and it’s one of the reasons I like Para-Sports so much. I can’t wait for the Paralympics this summer (with or without Wheelchair Basketball )

The obvious suggestion is to bring men’s football down to 12 teams. This isn’t a dream world, that won’t happen. Luckily, the sports added won’t take up that many quotas (somewhere around 200). I don’t fear huge quota quota cuts, but probably a few here and there.
