Right, but it still stands that most culture discourages women from participating in sports. There is also a lack of money and funding for women’s sports because of sexist beliefs. How are women supposed to be motivated, if men do not support them and only discourage them.

I’m sorry but I find this incredibly sexist and wrong. Woman are “not interested” Sport because those in charge of culture and sports (the all boys club) have not given them opportunities.

I’m really starting to like the inclusion of the monobob because I’ve always wanted to see a driver centric event

I’m sorry but I have to disagree. I think Women’s event fail to grow to the level of men’s because they are not given the same opportunities. This is a good change.

I’m really sad that they choose to further exclude smaller nations, and refuse to add team sports in order to make room for mixed events.

I excited to see the monobob, not sure how I feel about the Short Track Mixed Relay, Definitely think the Mixed Team Ski Jumping belongs, Ski Big Air was inevitable, no need or reason to add Aerials Team and Snowboard Team (dumb, dumb, dumb, dumbest)

I’m so annoyed by the amount of information available for streaming, results, entries, and schedule. So far I’d rate the organization for the games lower than the Mediterranean Games

Apparently the qualification systems for the 2019 World Beach Games were released today, but I haven’t been able to find them yet

Day 1 of Beach Volleyball saw victories for Marshall Islands 2, Palau, Yap (who lost to Marshall Islands 2, but beat Marshall Islands 1), and Palau for a second time; in the women’s competition. In the men’s competition Kiribati, Guam, and Marshall Islands 1 score victories.

In Day 1 of the Men’s Basketball Competition: Guam beat Palau 77-62 In Day 1 of the Women’s Basketball Competition: Guam beat Palau 77-42, and Pohnpei beat Chuuk 76-30

Guam strikes gold again in the Individual Spearfishing event. Mike Genereux caught a combined total of 177.5 lbs. of fish. The day was moderately stormy, so the total was impressive. Palau’s Luis Ongalibang took silver with a total of 143.5 lbs. of fish. Pohnpei’s day got off to a rough start when their boat broke, but after be transported by a support boat Taylor Paul managed to get bronze with a total of 126.5 lbs. of fish.

Well the independence proposal won’t be put to a vote in California this year, so I think we’re a way off from that.
