    There aren't any World Tour races before (or during) the Olympics once the Giro d'Italia wraps up this weekend. Plus, the next race will be the Tour de France right after the Olympics, so it would seem like a plus to be acclimatized to France and familair with the roads, etc. At least, that's my assessment of the situation. However, I'm not a pro cyclist and I only have a vague idea of what that career requires of people.

    I’m trying to make a playlist of past opening ceremony music, could one (or more) Brazilian users ( @Laraja @vinipereira @Pasolini and others I’m sadly forgetting at the moment) help me identify the songs from the pop culture segment of the Rio 2016 opening ceremony? I found a few, but Shazam doesn’t recognize some of the others.

    I did this for Tokyo 2020, and it was a great way experience the Games. However, I've learned to not miss out on social activites becuase of the Olympics or other multi-sports games, espically since things can be watched on replay. I'd recommend watching as much as you want/can, but don't let yourself become the meme of Squidward watching everyone else have fun either. This is the sage wisdom I pass on as a geriatric Gen Z

    Plus, the first 12 men's rugby sevens matches. 200km bike ride sounds awesome though. I do think it's important to make some time for physical activites before/during/after events

    I'll be working during the Games, so I'll watch select events live and catch up on everything else at some point. I hope everyone else finds time to watch what they want to see though

    Oh, interesting. I really like the animation style. In general, I feel like the BBC has done really good job of displaying a diveristy of animation styles and themes in their Olympic intros and other artistic projects, which I really appreicate it.
