  1. As expected, Marchand won't swim the 200 Breast as the semis come right before the 200 IM final. More surprisingly, Anna Hopkins scratches the 100 Free. Had a great chance at making the final so this is kind of puzzling
  2. I wonder if having trials in late March/early April had a factor. A lot of the Brits have also been off (besides Richards and Dean) and they also had their trials in March. Australia has seen significant improvement since moving their trials from April to June. Safe to say I'm glad Olympic trials are happening in May next year and then in June the years after that
  3. Individual Finals for Tomorrow Women's 200m Butterfly: 1. Mitsui 2. Bach 3. McIntosh 4. Pudar 5. Smith 6. Dekkers 7. Stephens 8. Looney Men's 100m Freestyle: 1. Grousset 2. Popovici 3. Pan 4. Richards 5. Chalmers 6. Nemeth 7. Crooks 8. Alexy Women's 50m Backstroke: 1. Wilm 2. Berkoff 3. Cox 4. Smith 5. McKeown 6. Masse 7. Pigree 8. Wang Men's 200m Individual Medley: 1. Dean 2. Ogata 3. Foster 4. Marchand 5. Scott 6. Gonzalez 7. Seto 8. Casas
  4. Gold for China! Another night of no gold medals for the US
  5. and ... out. Also had the #1 time in the world this year before the world championships
  6. I really want to see Pudar get a medal tomorrow
  7. You gotta like what this means for next year though!
  8. Better than 4th place at least
  9. What the heck Mollie!!! Good luck beating that 4x200m relay
  10. Was definitely expecting Finke to pass everyone near the end, shocked both of them hung on
  11. Tonight's 800m free final is probably the most excited I've ever been about a distance event! Men's distance racing in particular is incredibly exciting right now!
  12. Mixed relay lineup: Masse -> Dergousoff -> MacNeil -> Gaziev Lot's of Canadians competing tonight, fingers crossed for a good night!
  13. Mixed Medley Relay Lineups: Japan (MMFF): Irie -> Watanabe -> Soma -> Ikee Great Britain (FMMF): Harris -> Wilby -> Peters -> Hopkin Netherlands (FMMF): de Waard -> Kamminga -> Korstanje -> Steenbergen United States (MMFF): Murphy -> Fink -> Huske -> Douglass Australia (FMMF): McKeown -> Stubblety-Cook -> Temple -> Jack China (MMFF): Xu -> Qin -> Zhang -> Cheng Canada (FMFM): Masse -> Dergousoff -> MacNeil -> Gaziev Germany (MMFF): Braunschweig -> Matzerath -> Kohler -> Schulze In terms of Olympic quotas, the US and China are well ahead of the other teams. They both don't have any weaknesses. The other quota should go to Australia with maybe the Netherlands or GB capable of pulling off an upset.
  14. 18 swimmers achieved the OQT in the men's 800m freestyle heats yesterday. I think that's been the most inside heats so far
