  1. China continues their great start to the championships!
  2. Decent prelims session on day 2. Both Masse and Wilm easily qualified for the semis. Masse in particular looked the best she has all season so that's a good sign. I believe Angus and Finlin also had PB's in their events even though they didn't qualify for the next stage. Was hoping for Acevedo to sneak into the 100 back semis but he was well off his trials time.

  4. She did, she qualified in 14th. Barely made it in.
  5. Wow, Ceccon and Armstrong barely make it to the semis
  6. Just got to say that it was really nice seeing so much participation in this thread yesterday after what felt like a dead 2022 World Championships thread. Looking forward to the 2nd day of competition

  9. Yes, it counts. Both Cheng and Pan have the standard now
  10. Believe it or not, she was the fastest Canadian this year before these championships when she recorded a 54.39 at an event in January I think
  11. I will say that the one good thing to come from the 400 free is that this is the first rough swim for Summer. The adversity had to come at some point. Better to happen now than at the Olympics. Hopefully, it doesn't affect her too much and she can have a great rest of the championships.
  12. Well MacNeil advanced and looked great overall. Then it went downhill after that
  13. King Kyle does it again! 4th gold of the day for Australia
  14. So it's day one and we've already had as many world records as the entire 2022 world championships
  15. O'Callaghan 52.08 flat start, Jack 51.69 , Harris 52.29, McKeon 51.90 Good Lord what times
  16. Another WR, complete dominance by the Aussies in the relay
  17. He's done it! 4:02.50 New World Record
  18. 3 DQ's!!! McKeown is one of them
  19. 57.82 for Qin. Gonna be hard to beat him tomorrow
  20. He's been having some mental health struggles
  21. dang, Hansson and Pudar miss out on the final
  22. I believe Short and Hafnaoui swam the 7th and 8th fastest performances of all time. They are also the 4th and 5th fastest performers of all time.
