    Race one of the Supersport 300 is done and dusted and much like almost every race of last year, it was just awesome again Fight from start to finish with seven guys still fighting hard for the win in the last lap That win eventually went to Spain's Manuel Gonzalez, who beat Frenchman Hugo de Cancellis in a great fight in the last corners. Scott Deroue of the Netherlands went from 7th to 3rd in the final lap.

    Didn't register yet, but considering all factors (it has to be in June since that's when my girlfriend is here and it should be relatively close to home) I'm probably gonna make my half marathon debut on 16 June Amersfoort half, here we come.

    The Rotterdam Marathon today has claimed the life of one of the (probably) recreational runners https://www.ad.nl/rotterdam/deelnemer-overleden-na-marathon-rotterdam~aa0508b6/ It was around 20 degrees and sunny, the warmest day of the year, which impacted quite a lot of people.

    You haven't been watching the early season races so far? Already 4th in the BinckBank Classic (fighting with Stybar, Van Aert and Van Avermaet) and he had some impressive showings in the Tirreno. Quite a lot of injuries in past years if I'm not mistaken.

    For the second time today, one might add His fall was kinda caused by not very smart manoeuvering as well His technical abilities are insane, as is so often the case with riders coming from the cyclo cross, but he could learn to tone it down with those moves. At least he's so far pretty often being an offensive rider, that's always good

    Still curious about the suggestion Kawasaki is going to change the rules I watch because it's racing, but for excitement I watch the Supersport which is usually quite a lot more interesting. Just like MotoGP and Moto3 are a lot more spectacular than the often incredibly boring Moto2

    Great thing we have a commentator on Dutch Eurosport. For example, he can explain why world records are often higher than European records: "In events like world championships, countries from all over the world participate, which is why the records are often a big higher than the European records!" Thanks.

    Who said that? In terms of wins and championships WSBK has been boring for quite some time.

    Meanwhile Bautista won this morning's Superpole Race and now in 'Race 2' before halfway he's already watching all seven seasons of Game of Thrones before anyone else gets near.

    You know it's bad when someone who didn't crash and is from a different team (Christophe Laporte) stops and checks on a fallen rider until medical help arrives.
