    I cheered for the Nationals mostly because underdog and for the Astros a little in game 7 because the away team winning something big like this always makes for a bit of a sad atmosphere, that's boring

    Tomorrow the three day World Cup qualifying tournament for the Dutch skaters starts. Generally that's an excellent moment for seriously strong times, since it's really important, and the expected air pressure is very promising as well in terms of times

    Thanks, although holiday season only starts in December here Well, apart from the 'Fall holiday' the schools have these weeks but I think they're mostly finished by now.

    What part of the puzzle would Rieder have been though? He's behind both Fischnaller's normally, so in terms of the relay it doesn't matter much and frankly I doubt it'll have much influence on Italy's general World Cup performance..

    Can we get sort of a headcount of people who are as sure as they can be that they will or will not be here on Saturday? Obviously except for special and sudden circumstances It could make it a bit easier for the hosts to know whether or not they should post someone's votes or wait. The Netherlands will be present, so if I'm late for some reason (I get distracted easily, but I'll set an alarm), just mention me and I should be here.

    Because there's programs my parents like and programs (mostly sports) I like. Watching TV because there's things on it we like seems like a pretty obvious reason to watch TV. "Why do you listen artist X?" "Well, possibly because I like the music of artist X?" Seriously, what a question.

    It's not like in 300m shooting they just go around and shoot anything that's 300m away. Really, safety regulations there aren't significantly different than in the 10m events, and if they are, they are most likely stricter. All shooting events should be outside anyway, factoring in the wind in your shooting is as much a skill that's part of the sport as anything.
