    Sadly Olympic graphics are almost always worse than the ones that are ready to go in the usual World Cups/leagues/etc. Same thing in winter sports like biathlon, where the graphics all winter long are excellent and then come the Olympics and everything is thrown around.

    No idea yet which I'll watch on what device, plus F3, F2 and F1 today I'm probably skipping all of the group matches in all the team sports and favouring things that lead to direct elimination, finals and such. Finished everything up after midnight last night (skipped the surfing and will do so again today), I hope today a bit earlier...

    And especially Yulduz is really doing good, this year's she's been finishing midway in the pack in quite strong and good races, whereas usually athletes from her background would finish far, far, far ahead of the pack. If she can keep this progress up, and of course that is always an 'if', I genuinely believe she'll be capable of slowly moving towards things like top-30 results in (mostly flat, for now) World Tour races.     I was in fact talking about the place where the Carthaginian empire has it's roots after the princess/queen found her way out with a trick. Tarling wants to visit it, but it's sadly flat!

    Doping is bad, obviously, but only people who have no clue what they're talking about think dopers don't also work hard (the whole point of doping is that you can work harder, even)

    I find it questionable to boo the athletes in this situation, because it's also not the same kind of situation as, say, athletes being caught on an individual basis. Much as I have my doubts about China as a whole here, I do find it somewhat unfair to boo the specific athletes. Just do nothing and stay quiet then. Anyhow, time to enjoy the races, I doubt we'll get to an agreement here
