  1. And rewatch of, say, the previous season is available? In that case, I know what to spend my free afternoon on tomorrow
  2. Same here but with electric bikes, which on one hand is a great way for especially older people and otherwise physically less strong people*, but many of those same old people use them to race around at 20-25 kilometers per hour, which is a speed nobody expects a regular 85-year old to get to on a bike...resulting in a lot of accidents. Plus often they have some balance issues by then, so they're not always going in a decently straight line. *also more and more children are using them to get to school, even if they only live 5-10km away or so. Which isn't great, nearly the last time I was in good shape was when I still had to cycle 10k to and 10k from school five times a week for six years, but on an electric bike that's not going to do much
  3. Cool, taekwondo is already fun because of nations winning rare medals, so this could be even more of a nicely mixed medal table
  4. @phelps I've got some bad news for you buddy. Jutta Leerdam has confirmed the rumours of last week are true and she's in a relationship with.....Jake Paul, some YouTube guy who is mostly known for being....well, a bit of an uncivilized fellow, so to say. The chapter 'Controversies and legal issues' on his Wikipedia is almost longer than the rest, which should probably tell you enough about the kind of character this is
  5. To be fair, sports that need the Olympic status to be a competitive sport might need to take a good hard look at themselves (and yes, I know that'll be a majority of sports)
  6. Does it still exist? I know a few years back there was the pretty big Red Bull sponsored series, but I haven't heard much of it the past 2-3 years or so...which is sad, because yeah it's absolutely awesome and would be a fantastic addition (although the main issue is/was it being of course basically entirely Red Bull guided, which isn't great for Olympic inclusion one can imagine)
  7. To be fair, natural track luge is even less competitive and more super obscure than artificial track luge Artificial track luge already looks sort of silly to a majority of people, especially doubles is something nobody outside of the small community of luge enthousiasts (like myself, I love it) can take seriously and is usually the butt of all kinds of jokes. Try getting non-luge enthousiasts warmed up for natural track luge, which to the masses looks even more like regular people sliding for fun Not to be negative about the sport myself, I have no problems with it, but where the general masses already ignore artificial track luge, I can only see that be even worse for natural track (outside of the one or two strongholds in the world). Personally I'd be fine with having both, btw.
  8. Right, I think I got confused with Mohoric in my memory
  9. But Sagan got back on his bike after the Maciejuk crash, his hard fall was in that smaller but even harder Girmay crash if I'm not mistaken...
  10. Pogacar with the knockout punch?
  11. Van Aert seems to be down and out after Van der Poel's attack on the Hotond. Now on to the Kwaremont again, while Pedersen is working on a strong solo.
  12. Hard attacks on the Koppenberg and somehow the result once again is the Big Three ending up together
  13. Right, Pogacar's first attack resulted in the gap to the front group being significantly smaller, but he seems to be waiting now. Laporte going for the counter though, now it's up to Van der Poel and Pidcock
  14. Dear lord, Pogacar turning on the turbo with 55k to go on the Oude Kwaremont
  15. Gap is more than three minutes, the big guys and their teams have thrown it away, so it's going to be for the lead group. Personally I'm going for Asgreen, Pedersen, Van Hooydonck. Powless and Jorgensen as other main contenders.
  16. Damn, Mohoric as well. Not a big one in terms of numbers, but half of them are potential podium riders and they went down hard. Everyone involved seems to be either sitting or standing now... Mistake seems to have been from Bini himself.
  17. Ouch, that was a nasty, nasty fall, among others Bini and Kristoff went down hard
  18. Pogacar sneaked into the attacking group Pedersen there as well I believe, he will be super dangerous today.
  19. Sur place on the climb
  20. Filip Maciejuk has been taken out of the race, rightfully so of course, after causing a massive crash that took out Tim Wellens and a bunch of others.
  21. I'm sure that was supposed to be with a bit less than 230km to go though But yeah, that's probably a lot more on VDP than on SKA. Stybar is in the second group as well btw, for what that's still worth nowadays
  22. VDP/Alpecin missed the break in the peloton The only one of the main favourites to really miss out, Van Aert was just in time to make the jump. The 'shadow favourites' like SK Andersen can be counted out now because of this extra work, and some "maybe maybe maybe outsiders" like Grmay, Sagan and I think Vanmarcke are in that group as well.
  23. Interesting, I was very much entertained for 2,5 hours (well, 4,5 because the alarm was at 5am to watch F3 and F2 first )
  24. This was definitely memorable, but whether or not that's positive is entirely up to one's personal opinion
  25. And there's the flag, only 273 kilometers to go
