- is almost certainly at their last Olympics;
- regularly got a lot of wins and podiums at World Cups / WCHs during their career;
- never won anything at previous Olympics.

As I said before Tokyo, they had to organize things like this: everyone flying to Beijing 10 days (at least) before the Games - since there is way less people involved in the Winter Olympics accomodation shouldn't have been that big of a problem. First test on the day of the arrival, quarantine if positive, and then no more tests until departure.
I also have the feeling that the tests performed by the Chinese are very sensitive so every doubtful case will be marked as positive.

What is the Dutch NOC doing this time, sending 10 people across several sports with no chance of medals? Is that because they've already been forced to book a chartered flight and they need to fill the seats?

Just goes on to show how much IOC have done in winter sports. Now I seriously believe IOC should set aside tripartite quotas and have some unused quotas added to tripartite. I would love to see a cross country sprint event being held like 100m, preliminary heats followed by regular time trial ( with certain proportion of skieers qualifying for second stage) 
 
Initially tripartite may sound like joke to most but if a tripartite can win a medal in Tokyo Olympics then why not expect something similar may not be now or next games over a few decades.

Everyone acting as if vaccination certifications to enter a country didn't exist before 2021   I wonder what the Novaxes-Heroes of the Free World would have done if they had to play somewhere in Africa where you still need to get the yellow fever or whatever vaccine in order to enter.
