  1. as usual, quite a curious way to open the season...straight with a major title up for grabs for what concerns the team, not a good championship: quite a good number of boats qualified to the finals, but no individual medals in particular, disappointing outing for the 2024 European and Olymnpic Champion in the men's K1, Giovanni De Gennaro, who paid a high prize to a mistake in the semifinal race and couldn't even make the final...at the same time, Xabier Ferrazzi was the closest to win a medal among the Italians (he finished in 4th place, always in the men's K1) it will be a very tough competition between him and De Gennaro to earn the Olympic spot in 3 years time p.s. @hckošice I'm really surprised to see that both the and TV networks completely ignored this event (I know that the Hockey Worlds are on, but this isn't an excusation...at least, it wasn't in the past)
  2. a couple of days ago, the Team titles went to (women's K1 and women's C1), (men's K1) and (men's C1)

  6. and completed the blowout 6-0, 6-1 in only 59 minutes that was really impressive... maybe they shouldn't have made him so angry
  7. this is huge! the 38th America's Cup will be held in Italy, in Naples (in the Gulf's area between Castel Dell'Ovo and Posillipo) in the Spring / Summer 2027 (the exact dates will be announced later) most likely, it's gonna be the most spectacular backdrop ever for the historical regatta https://www.oasport.it/2025/05/la-coppa-america-di-vela-sara-a-napoli-evento-epocale-lannuncio-dei-neozelandesi-e-lintervento-diretto-del-governo/
  8. in the end we still managed to win the most medals of all and to finish 2nd in the overall medal table, but the trick is that we won mainly kata and team medals, which are difinitely a lot less significant than the individual kumite's (only exception, the team kumite, which is always very prestigious) so, we can't be really satisfied with the final results of this championship (and we also did worse than last year, which is not a good sign, given that in the past copuple of years we're in descending route)
