  2. according to the results so far, in the women's Team Foil and are mathematically qualified to Paris 2024 the only fights still open are those for the European spot ( vs , with the teams that at the end of the day will be separated by 1 point in favor of to 4 points in favor of , depending on Today's final results) and trying to save their 16th place in the OQR (at the end of Today's tournament, will have an advantage between 11 and 13 points over their only contender, )
  3. just threw a 36-28 lead away against the in the men's semifinal thanks to Garozzo, of course...why is he still closing our assaults when he's not anymore even among the top 4 italians???

  8. update... are also mathematically qualified in the men's Foil (European spot) no, sorry...my mistake... until are not in, are still in danger...gotta wait until the end of Today's tournament to see how many points will gain over
  9. following Today's results, in the men's Team Foil are mathematically qualified to the Games might also join the company, need to see how the tournament ends for them and and make some calculations (I'm going to be more precise later)
  10. men's Team Foil, Semifinals vs and vs lost in the round of 16, which means that they will lose a lot of points from the top 4 teams and also a good amount of points from who are in the 5th-8th place bracket now are quite far away from the top 4, but they increase their margin over for the Asian spot (it was already good 16 pts, however)
  11. yeah, luckily there's no greenstick fracture as by the early reports the situation is not ideal, but way lighter than what a broken femur would mean
  12. in the men's team foil, nothing's going to change at the bottom of the ranking, as and all lost in the 1st round and get 8 points each in the standing, meaning that they will keep their position between 14th and 16th vs is the fight for the Panamerican spot, still have a 15-point advantage over before the last OQT
  13. it's a mistake of the engarde app if you look at the brackets from a desktop PC, you can see the correct layout in the meantime, key win for against in the 1st round of the women's team foil unfortunately for them, also won their first match, so they are still in competition with some good points up for grabs need to defend 14 points over to save their place in the top 16 of the OQR and seal their qualifying spot now and any other team already behind the Africans are definitely out of contention...it's down to the aforementioned pair of teams
  14. Ranking Series ( Zagreb) Day #4 Champions Men's Greco-Roman -63kg: Leri Abuladze -67kg: Parviz Nasibov -77kg: Sanan Suleymanov -87kg: () Milad Alirzaev Women's Wrestling -72kg: Iryna Zablotska -76kg: Aiperi Medet Kyzy
  15. might have played 3 horrific periods, might have made a lot mistakes on offense...people might have a bad day, refs can make mistakes...they can even be biased sometimes (and this should never happen in any case)... but not to the point the and refs acted tonight...they literally killed from the beginning to the end of the match... disgusting... refs like that are the worst spot for the sport of waterpolo p.s. congrats to
  16. wow! what a clean sweep on our arch-rival's soil! a day to remember for our guys... on the other side, a day to forget for our girls, many of them losing always to the usual suspect, Chen, who finally completed the day of her life winning it all

  19. shame, shame on they've been capable of missing the final against teams like and (who are no longer a thing after losing Krueger and the Liu bros)
  20. men's 5000m Relay, Teams qualified to the Final Belgium Netherlands Poland Hungary
  21. women's 3000m Relay, Teams qualified to the Final Italy Netherlands Poland France
  22. wow! I didn't expect the ref to give Thibus such kind of red card in the extra-time in Paris and therefore eliminating her from the competition so early (rd of 16)
  23. I understand the point, however 12/15 entries is somehow acceptable...but 7 (and 10 among the men, which might even be worse proportionally) is definitely a shame for the sport...and in any case, it used to be better in the recent past...I don't know why this year we're reaching an all-time low in terms of participation
  24. p.s. very disappointing starting field in this championship, especially in the relays (the women's team event has only 7 starters ) in a Continent with more than 50 Nations, and most of them having some kind of regular ice sports activity, it's not a nice presentation, to say the least
