as far as I know, there's still a good argument within the FIH itself on the Olympic format (IOC and LA OC are pushing for the 3 groups of 4 -like basketball, volleyball and now also waterpolo- meanwhile most of the FIH officials are against this new format) no final decision has been taken yet and more details (including a new daily schedule adjustment) will come as soon as possible however, it's sure that they will use only 1 pitch, no matter if there will be 4 or 6 games a day (depending on the format chosen - 9am/noon/5 & 8pm if the games are only 4, 9 & 11.15am/2 & 4.15 + 7 & 9.15pm if the games are 6)
