  2. very, very happy for Greece (definitely my favourite team, when they don't play vs Italy), but let's be honest, if I were Australian, right now I'd be absolutely mad
  4. are the new European champions! congrats to them it was a really close Gold Medal match, but the Israeli's experience finally paid off and they won the game against by a score of 9-8 the Bronze medal went to the former European champions, after beating by a score of 7-4 Gold Medal match, full video
  5. his sister Carolina is one of the biggest disappointments of our athletics...she was hitting the 58m mark as a junior and then she regressed intead of progressing and Rachele Mori (former 400m HS world champion Fabrizio's cousin) in the hammer is even worse...
  7. * will face in the Gold Medal match of the 2025 men's Field Lacrosse (not the Olympic format) European Championships in Wroclaw in an upset bonanza, * beat 10-8 and beat 8-6 in the semifinals played earlier Today the GMM is scheduled for Saturday @ 6 p.m. CET and all the action is available live and ondemand on the Lax TV page on Youtube * AKA #2/3/4/5/6 (choose the number you prefer)
  9. first time is in the top 4 in 12 years great comeback from -19 Today vs and the usual great shame on social media, with many racist idiots criticizing the team because half of them don't have a perfectly white skin instead of celebrating their success...our Nation has really taken an unstoppable downfall in terms of civil society...individualism, corruption, ideology and deep racism...there's no way we can get back to the glory days with so many people like that
  11. as far as I know, there's still a good argument within the FIH itself on the Olympic format (IOC and LA OC are pushing for the 3 groups of 4 -like basketball, volleyball and now also waterpolo- meanwhile most of the FIH officials are against this new format) no final decision has been taken yet and more details (including a new daily schedule adjustment) will come as soon as possible however, it's sure that they will use only 1 pitch, no matter if there will be 4 or 6 games a day (depending on the format chosen - 9am/noon/5 & 8pm if the games are only 4, 9 & 11.15am/2 & 4.15 + 7 & 9.15pm if the games are 6)
  12. maybe he'll get the Italian passport to play as an Italian (EU) player in the club competitions, but I doubt he'll ever play for our NT
  15. hot, yes...but LA is by the Ocean, it's not that humid like the Far East and generally, late July is better than August/early September for instance, this is 2025 weather forecast in LA during the Olympic period https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/usa/los-angeles/ext
  16. yes, 3 groups of 4 teams (which is new to waterpolo) it's because they want a few days break between Wimbledon and the start of the Olympic tournament however, it's the stint between Wimbledon and the US campaign, when only minor clay championships (Gstaad, Baastad, Kitz 250) are played by low ranking/surface specialists actually, the Olympic tournament could be a good warm-up for the US hardcourt season
  17. because they host swimming at the so.fi stadium, which also hosts part of the opening ceremony, so they need a few days to set up the swimming pool
  18. yeah, bit still you can't have a farce of a tournament just because they only want a 6-day break and not more than that
  19. it's not because of the bad weather, it's because of water pollution, for safety reason
  20. baseball format (12 games in all, only 6 competition days) should be the most idiotic ever...surely, it's different from Tokyo 2020(1) I guess it will be 2 groups of 3 teams, group winners to the semis, 2nd and 3rd ranked still advance to "quarterfinals"
