  1. looking at this week's trials (and at the champs back in April), men's 4*100m free relay is not even a medal contender...it's then and finally vs for bronze
  2. no world championships quota are reallocated at the world champs, continental quota through the continental champs and world qualfication tournament's quota through the WQT which means that Sidakov's quota must go to Bayramov and the Azeri's quota must go to next in line in the tournament where Bayramov got the original quota place (= European qualifiers, so Chamizo) what was done in the previous Olympic cycle doesn't count at all, this time rules are different, looking at the official document I think any decent lawyer would easily win any dispute about it in a trial court
  3. you're wrong, the reallocation follows the general rule of max 2 athletes per NOC (per gender) up to 4 athletes per NOC (per gender) are only possible when all of them are qualified via World Ranking
  4. guys, if you have an amazon firestick (or an android TV), check out the app sports fire...you get the whole world of sports there (ps always use a vpn with that, for your safety) https://apkpure.com/sportsfire/com.leed.sportsfire
  5. I'd say is among the clear favourites also in men's Street Skateboarding...Giraud and Milou have great credentials
  6. already have 2 qualified athletes among the men, so Rafalovich is not eligible in any case
  7. in the men's +102kg (weightlifting) it should be Kamil Kucera, since have already selected 3 different weights sorry, I didn't see that it was already noticed
  8. fireworks also in the Ethiopian 10k Trials last night in the men's event, Yomif Kejelcha wins in 26.31 edging out Berihu Aregawi reigning Olympic Champion Selemon Barega was 3rd in 26.34 among the women, Fotyen Tesfay won in 29.47 just ahead of 2023 world cross-country silver medallist Tsigie Gebreselama, who was second in 29:49 the third spot went to world bronze medallist Ejgayehu Taye in 29:50 full recap https://worldathletics.org/news/report/kejelcha-ethiopia-olympic-10000m-trials-nerja
  9. on Day 1 Cycling Road - M Ind Time Trial - Ganna, very disappointing if he doesn't get a medal, most likely Gold Cycling Road - W Ind Time Trial Diving - W Synchro 3m Springboard - reasonable chances for Pellacani & Bertocchi, all but a safe medal, though Fencing - W Epee Ind - I expect at least a medal, but given this year's results, it might also be a double, if not a clean sweep Fencing - M Sabre Ind - some chances also here for us, but it's gonna be a lot more difficult than in the women's Epee Judo - W -48kg - Scutto must get a medal...she's the world no.1 and bronze medallist in the last 3 world champs Judo - M -60kg Rugby Sevens - M Tournament Shooting - Mixed Team Air Rifle Skateboarding - M Street Swimming - M 400m Free Swimming - W 400m Free Swimming - W 4x100m Free Swimming - M 4x100m Free - we're defending the silver medal from Tokyo here, but if we get a bronze medal it's already a big success so, I expect to be between 4 and 7 medals in the most optimistic case, we could be in contention with and maybe even for the most medals on Day 1
  10. men's 800m: Emmanuel Wanyonyi, 1.41.70 in altitude after being reinstated from Yesterday's fall in the semifinals
  11. Kenyan Trials 2024 Day #1 action recap & results https://www.letsrun.com/news/2024/06/kenyan-olympic-trials-day-1-faith-kipyegon-is-back-mary-moraa-is-beaten-reynold-cheruiyot-wins-1500-thriller/ Day #1 full streaming Day #2 full streaming (live action is still on, even if it's basically at the closing ceremony)
  12. very unattractive opener... in the tv ratings have been a true disaster, just over 4 millions between the main public TV channel (rai 1, 4.1 millions) and our main pay-TV operator (sky Italia, 316k) just to make a comparison, vs (France 2016 opener...not counting the 2021 edition, as were playing) was well above 9 millions, always between the same FTA and paid operators/TV channels to keep it closer to Today, the last couple of nights of the recent Athletics Europeans recorded about 3.5 millions viewers each, with peaks over 4 millions
  13. this is day #1 (finals) https://www.france.tv/sport/natation/championnats-de-france-de-natation/6145934-finales-jour-1.html most likely with a French VPN
  14. 2024 Swimming European Championships ( Belgrade) mixed 4*1.5km Relay Open Water Swimming Gold: Hungary (Mira Szimcsak, Bettina Fabian, David Betlehem, Kristof Rasovszky) Silver: Italy (Giulia Gabrielleschi, Ginevra Taddeucci, Andrea Filadelli, Marcello Guidi) Bronze: France (Caroline Jouisse, Oceane Cassignol, Sacha Velly, Marc-Antoine Olivier)
  15. please, bring the 25km back at the world acquatics champs and put it also in the Olympic program... it's such a fantastic race p.s. and I'm not saying this just because of the Italian success
  16. 2024 Swimming European Championships ( Belgrade) men's 25km Open Water Swimming Gold: Dario Verani Silver: Matteo Furlan Bronze: Axel Reymond
  17. 2024 Swimming European Championships ( Belgrade) women's 25km Open Water Swimming Gold: Barbara Pozzobon Silver: Lea Boy Bronze: Candela Sanchez Loro
  18. what a disaster for not that it comes unexpected, but it still hurts
  19. really interesting
  20. b. 6-2 and advance to the Olympic Games
  21. p.s. all the graphics on tv were wrong...better not to have any at all than that sh*t but atos and EAA info system are good, according to them
  22. actually, it was Primo Nebiolo as president of both the former IAAF and the Italian Federation at the same time who organized that cheat Evangelisti was the victim, he only did his job (jumping) and Donati is always been the victim of the most corrupted part of our officials...they tried to ruin him with Di Terlizzi's scandal in the late Eighties (but unfortunately the policemen found out the plot against him) and finally they could do it with the Schwazer infamous plot (and they needed the help of the FSB and many corrupted World Athletics officials to be able to finalized that) p.s. no scam this time, Diaz Fortun truly jumped longer than Pichardo (and he also had a 17.96m jump, close to the Portuguese's measure) Pichardo is just a greedy and envious man...looking forward to Paris, when he might get 4th or 5th with a jump just over 18m
  23. yeas, he's listed (and the info is not exactly fresh, it was known since this Spring) in Bastad, but I believe he plays only when he's on the court
