  6. other than internet, I also have a motorized satellite dish (120cm) and the single satellite system available for all the apartments of the palace where I live. so, paid TV susbs: - Sky Italia @ 13 East (the main Italian pay-tv, of course), Sports package only (no Football package, but it's not a big loss, as they only have the Italian football as exclusive feature, the Champions/Europa League and some of the main European National leagues -ENG, GER, FRA- are on the sport pack) - Czech/Slovak TV provider Skylink @ 23.5 East (Kombi+ package, with the public sport channels from CZE and SVK and a few private sport networks like Sport1 & 2 + Nova Sport 1 & 2 + JOJ Sport and Arena Sport 1 SVK, which cover a lot of sports and especially almost all the Hockey I'm interested in) - a lot of free channels around the socalled Clarke Stripe and also some "not so free" ones, but still available with some kind of hardware and software (Dreambox STB for instance) - I used to have also a SRG (public Swiss) TV card, but now it's expired and I didn't replace it yet (and I don't know if I'll ever do it) Online Service subs: - ESPN Player (NHL Hockey full coverage -all games of the season, US College Sports and a few more events) - *MLB.tv (MLB and Dominican Winter League Baseball full coverage) - *NFL GamePass (NFL Football full coverage) - *Discovery+ (with all the Eurosport stuff and much more) all these, with a full yearly subscription (some of them* coming with a strong discount, however). then, normally only in late September/October (the season's climax), I also add JNEXT TV and i-KOR TV (Japanese and Korean IPTV services with all of their main TV channels) to watch the NPB and KBO Baseball playoffs. I also have a VPN, of course...and thanks to it, I can steal viewership of some more TV channels online (mainly public TV networks, like NPO/NOS or the Swedish STV Play, for instance) oh, I almost forgot Youtube and some free services coming directly from the world sports federations (like the Olympic Channel or Wrestling or Judo), which are always an important source for sports with lower media coverage. despite some discounts, in any case, I feel I'm still investing a lot (too much? ), but this is my passion, so, I don't care until I can afford it.

  10. well, in any case in Venice they need canoeing specialists more than rowers...
  11. by the way, also the Mixed Team competition is back to the old format for what concerns the finals, with both teams shooting 6 rounds of 8 targets (4 the man, 4 the woman) and counting all of them for the total result.
  12. Mixed Team Skeet Gold: Italy 2 (Chiara Cainero & Tammaro Cassandro) Silver: Kazakhstan 2 (Assem Orynbay & Eduard Yechshenko) Bronze: Italy 1 (Diana Bacosi & Gabriele Rossetti) Final Ranking and Results https://www.issf-sports.org/competitions/venue/csevent.ashx?cseventid=18016
  13. that's one point...the other being rowing the poorest sport on earth (if not on earth, in Italy for sure...our best athletes are students or people enrolled in the Military corpse -like in many other sports, but in Rowing they only rely on their salary, there's no chance to earn something extra by participating to global circuits like in swimming or athletics for instance)...
  14. yes, all the athletes registered for CSKA/SKA are not eligible, as they aren't those registered for clubs owned by the sanctioned companies like Gazprom and many more.
  15. game over... 3-3 tie after regulation...Latvia are in the quarterfinals, Slovakia are out.
  16. are not playing like they did so far, to say the least. they're only trying not to waste any energy and not to get injured, leaving the door open for Latvia to qualify at the expense of Slovakia.
  17. now the game is tied 2-2. the hope is still alive...
  18. being under IOC's blackmail because of the 2026 Winter Olympics, our NOC's President, Giovanni Malagò (also IOC member), said earlier Today that the Government is ready to allow and atheltes to enter the Italian territory for all the sports competitions held in our Country, especially those who should take part into the World Fencing Championships in Milan at the end of July. by the way, they will be allowed only according to the IOC rules, which means complete neutrality and not being part of Russian clubs related to the National Army nor to the companies currently sanctioned by EU and/or UN*. and no teams (which is a bad blow for them in terms of Olympic qualification, since it's based mainly on the team events). *Sofya Pozdniakova, daughter of the great Stanislav (now President of the Russian OC), is among those who won't be allowed to compete in any case (the only -big- name of Russian fencing made by Malagò after today's press conference).
  19. why? if I did it till the last step*, why can't the (wo)man with the torch too? *30 years and many more kilos ago, of course...
