Federer91 got a reaction from hckošice in European Winter Youth Olympic Festival 2017
Hockey in Bulgaria has been destroyed for 27 years (since the fall of socialism) It encorporates only amateurs playing for fun (if they are having fun ) The federation exists only to get some funding from the country, which disappears immidiately. This sport is non-existent here and i'm surprised they go to international competitions at all.

No, that still is ski-jumping, though this season has been good with the weather conditions.

I don't know if a have seen less depth in womens DH. There were like 5 credible skiers who could have won. No Gut, Veith, Maze really hurt this discipline.

Good God, can this prick be any more obnoxious. Since when is this primadonna a messiah and everyone should be entitled to his periods. I never thought i could hate an athlete more than Nadal, but this douche is something else and then some. I'm praying someone knocks his head between his legs.. IBU should fine his sorry ass (if not more) for disrespecting the sport and his competitors.

Congratulation to our second winner of the year Federer91 and Bulgaria it was a well deserved Gold Medal !
Correct final match picks by @Dolby , @vlad ,@africaboy and our champion @Federer91 who got 3 perfect picks out of the last 4 games and 5 out of the 8 KO round matches . That's certainly what played in his favour for the gold win !
Until yesterday we had different configurations for the podium and who could be the winner depending on the final score.
Then we had a thrilling finish that has been decided by Vincent Aboubakar's 88th minute goal .
Even though he wasn't on the top 10 since the beginning of the tournament, Federer has improved his ranking day after day beginning from Day 10 where he was 18th and clinched places one by one and jumped by 7 places on Day 15 to become seventh but he didn't stop there until he reached the first spot on the final day! That was brillant especially getting maximum points on 3 of the last 4 games
On the second step of the podium, there is Silver Medalist africaboy and Romania, whom we congratulate for the great tournament they had. The romanian has been in top 10 during almost every day of the contest and never left top 5 since Day 7, he kept being in top 3 until from Day 8 to Day 16 and even falling to 5th place on Day 17, he jumped back to get Silver Medal on the final Day thanks to a perfect pick.
Last but not least we congratulate amen09 and Tunisia for Bronze Medal. He has been all contest long in the first places, his worst ranking being 7th on Day 2, he kept the lead from Day 5 to Day 11 but then dropped to second and third places, then to 6th before jumping back to get a medal on final Day! He could even done better if only he didn't forget his picks for Bronze Medal Game .
He is btw the one who got the most perfect prediction with 8 picks our of 32 games nice job amen09 .
Italy and Dunadan came short for Bronze Medal, During the first half of the contest, he occupied places between 12 and 18, but later as the tournament advanced he progressed into top 10 and kept 4th place for 5 days in a row, the same place he finished in , although being second on Day 17. It was a great tournament by him Good luck for next time !
Bad luck for vinipereira, who lost his lead on final day to drop to 5th place! He almost never left top 5 since Day 5 he kept being 2nd for 4 days then dropped to 5th for 5 other days but jumped on Day 17 to take the lead from amen09 who missed his picks, but this latter came back to take the bronze and put Dunadan and vinipereira out of the medal count
Good tournament also for Henry Leon from Italy who kept the lead from day 12 to day 16.
Congratulation for team Romania for having all 3 players among top 10 ; Silver medalist africaboy (in top 3 from Day 8 to Day 16), vlad (leader from Day 1 to Day 5), and ady48 for making a nice tournament.
I hope you enjoyed this contest and see you soon for further ones !
Good luck to everyone !
Now please stand up for the national anthem of Bulgaria !

Tomorrow begins the Bansko world cup weekend. With the success that Jekova and Yankov have had, i think our federation will try to have World Cup starts for a while. It is expected that the saturday/sunday starts to have around 10 000 spectators.

This is presumably the new reposition, though nothing is official yet. I would ditch the playoff and have Europe with 17.

The World Cup will be expanded to host 48 teams, up from 32, Fifa has decided.
An initial stage of 16 groups of three teams will precede a knockout stage for the remaining 32 when the change is made for the 2026 tournament.
The sport's world governing body voted through the change at a meeting in Zurich on Tuesday. The number of tournament matches will rise to 80, from 64, but the eventual winners will still play only seven games. The tournament will be completed within 32 days - a measure to appease powerful European clubs, who objected to reform because of a crowded international schedule.

I'm stepping up to help Wanderer and LDOG with the point calculation of the predictions for Cycling, Swimming and the Miscellaneous Events, since I'm having a few days off work.
I'm planning of finishing the results next week. Still I think you shall be patient; it's a hard work filling out each form without mistakes, so please consider that.

My opinion is that, if there isn't a serious organization, with people that are commited to making the contests from start to finish, then there is no point in having them in bits and pieces. I know it requires time and that everyone is busy, i too have organised games in different sites and know what determination it takes. I literally have sacrificed half my day numerous times to get the results, because i know that people are getting anxious even if it is just an online game. And if people aren't commited doing the same once a month than there is no point waisting their and our time all together.

And most importantly, they come at the expense of more competitive, more historical and more prestiged events, which devalues the whole sport. I don't want to say it, but many of the changes seem to be just for the political correctness.
