  1. Excellent ball striking from both
  2. Serena with 50+ unforced errors, she couldn't count on win. Sveta has wonderful game, it is such a pity she is also a mental case. Well, Bacsinszky saved Serena's #1 (?), and with Serena out, there are many contenders for the title. I would love to see Vika winning IW-Miami double, honestly. But I am afraid Vika might suffer due Miami conditions. The humidity is too high... But let her beat Muguruza first
  3. Sveta is peaking again Though, Serena is a mess. Many, many errors....
  4. Wow, Bacsinszky! That 6-1 6-1 wasn't for nothing --- I really like how Andrey Kuznetsov plays
  5. Great two weeks in Mexico. Apart from 1st round loss in Guadalajara, I am very satisfied. Few excellent wins, including the one over Zeballos who just beat Verdasco for 4th round spot in Miami!
  6. He actually was in team two times, including this year tie with France. He is supposed to be part of the team three times... These additional statements are important too: So, I'd say nothing is lost yet. Among 32 doubles teams I guess at least 7-8 nations will have 2 teams for sure
  7. ATP Singles Race to Rio 2016 as of March 21st, 2016 Note: Davis Cup participation was not considered. But it is known for sure that Kevin Anderson and Ivo Karlovic for instance, haven't played Davis Cup since 2011 and 2012 respectively. Therefore, they are not eligible.
  8. WTA Singles Race to Rio 2016 as of March 21st, 2016 Note: Fed Cup participation wasn't considered
  9. So, Canada may go with... Men's: Raonic (S+D), Pospisil (S+D); additionally Nestor (D)+Shamasdin (D, I am not sure if Shamasdin was part of Davis Cup in recent ties..) Women's: Bouchard (S) and maybe Dabrowski to team up with Bouchard for women's doubles. I think that is fair team.
  10. In my humble opinion, Pospisil and Nestor could be better and more potent team. Though, Vasek and Milos can make good team either, would be good for them to team up at some of the following masters and at Grand Slams. Nestor have to be ranked in top 10 to qualify directly. Good thing is, he has to defend a very few points until the end of Roland Garros so he has a decent shot for direct qualification. I guess Canada will go for second men's doubles team (if you don't exceed maximum quota of 6 athletes). Though, I wonder who can partnering him... Shamasdin perhaps?
  11. Lisicki is going nowhere. If she doesn't peak somewhere, most likely during grass season, I am afraid she can sink much deeper... Choking to the player who dropped 6-0 lead in the tiebreak not so long ago -.- As expected, this deadly slow courts are not Petra's best. At least she managed to double bagel Ana here in Miami once
  12. Aaaaaa... so disappointing end of the set! After all the effort. But those errors were to much for a player like Ferrer. I doubt Fritz can win now, he looked tired at the end of tie-break. From what I saw, Lopez was rather bad, but nevertheless, great result for Nishioka!
  13. Osaka Second break point for Taylor EDIT What a game for rebreak, 5-5
  14. After one year and $17.6 million spent, New Zealanders have decided to keep their current flag Preliminary results are around 56% for the old one...
