  1. I'm enjoying the music selection too. Well, except that techno Whatever Will Be, Will Be version.
  2. Hopefully it will finally click for the Irish team at some big championships in the future. They lacked some luck in Rio, though I still remember how impressed I was back then with their dressage performance. They were 5th after dressage, only 13 penalties behind the leading team. Such performance would just be unthinkable few years ago.
  3. I'd say that Jonty Evans, Camilla Speirs, Sarah Ennis and Cathal Daniels are the ones to watch far. Evans really had an excellent performance in Rio. Ennis and Speirs also had some eye-catching results lately. And, I mean, Camilla Speirs & Jiffy are just the ultimate crowd favourties. Cathal had a very promising 4* debut in Pau at the end of last season. His Badminton debut should be exciting. Aoife Clark is also there, but she & Fernhill Adventure seem to be lacking some confidence across the country after some minor injury problems. They have apparently received 20 jumping penalties in XC in all three of their latest competitions.
  4. @OlympicIRL I'm very impressed with the size of the Irish team entered for Badminton this year. 10 riders! Looking back at last year's results, there were only 4 Irish around. This number may still grow, as Jim Newsam and Ciaran Glynn are 1st and 4th on the current wait list. That would make 12 Irish riders in the limited field of 85.
  5. What a finish Polanc coming back and forth like some troll
  6. You wouldn't believe how familiar this road is to me. Weird to see all these places on Eurosport.
  7. 4th place for Seligman. But I'm kind of glad that he finally performed without mistakes in the final... He qualified for like 1000 finals and in 999 of them he made big mistakes.
  8. I think that's because the code of points has been changed after RIo 2016. Scores in 2017 appear to be quite a bit lower.
  9. Gold medal for Dragulescu in men's floor. 17 years after his first European Championships gold.
  10. This stage is right around my home town Rijeka. I'm not there right now though. However, I was thinking about watching the final stage live tomorrow, as I'm in Zagreb.
  11. That's just terrible. He was a great cyclist. I had a similar experience recently. With an athlete dying one day after I watched him compete...
  12. Looks like every second of the Badminton Horse Trials will be live streamed this year, everywhere in the World. Great promotion for this incredible event.
  13. Medals for Matić and Družeta. What a great day for our judo! I'm especially shocked by Dominik Družeta in men's -81kg. Did not see that one coming.
  14. Cyclists falling like dominos in Zadar. Terrible looking fall for Modolo. EDIT: Looks like Modolo is back on the bike.
  15. @hckosice I'm pretty sure Michael Bugan has just become the first Slovak to qualify for any dressage championships. http://www.eurodressage.com/equestrian/2017/04/19/slovakian-michael-bugan-grabs-ermelo-qualification-young-horse-scarlett-o-harrah Luckily, they don't call him Slovenian in this article, but they do call him "Slowakian" at one point...
  16. And I'm pretty sure those workouts have nothing to do with game itself. It's just gym lads being gym lads. I actually watched some CS:GO tournaments, and most of the guys there didn't look like some fitness lovers. This by the way leads to another problem, the inexistance of women's e-sports.
  17. Yes, sport is the thing that prevents many children from staring at their computer screen 24/7.
  18. Lovely birthday celebration...
