  3. Absent, however, didn't need those extra points at the 1960 Rome Olympics. Pretty sure that's the only ever Olympic champion from Turkmenistan.
  4. Robinson, however, still has 3 more Junior Worlds unlike Hrovat for whom this is a farewell...
  5. I bet Akhal-Teke Cup would be added to the program then.
  6. Not to mention how that event doesn't have code of points or anything, at YOG it was just a bunch of funny named judges voting for what's "cool" (whatever that means). So of course it was biased towards the hosts and the other desirables...
  7. I'm very disappointed you don't know this. Olympic sprint was in classic. Worlds and Olympics have their styles switched around, not just Worlds separately and Olympics separately...
  8. Mexico did again. Israel 2nd Unusual day in the office.
  9. The only perfect prediction came from Bearas who placed 33rd. One wonders if there should be a bigger reward.
  10. Wow, you probably have all biathlon gossip at your fingertips.
  11. Are there any qualification standards required for participation? If so, I doubt it.
  12. With one more stage to go, these are the provisional qualifiers from the Western European League for the World Cup Finals in Gothenburg. Helen Langehanenberg Dorothee Schneider Hans Peter Minderhoud Maria Caetano Patrik Kittel Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven Daniel Bachmann Andersen Morgan Barbancon Judy Reynolds Andersen and Reynolds only had 3 starts so far (best 4 scores count), so they can improve quite a bit and basically secure the qualification. Outside of the top 9, there is Antonia Ramel who should be able to overtake Barbancon after the Den Bosch stage. Thamar Zweistra has an outside chance as well. Additionally, Benjamin Werndl will be looking to overtake Schneider and qualify (only 3 per nations can go). He will need to be 1st or 2nd however to do that. Among other leagues, this is the current situation... Isabell Werth is qualified of course as the defending champion. Laura Graves and Kasey Perry-Glass are the likely qualifiers from the North America. Regina Isachkina and Stanislav Cherednichenko are holding the Central European spots with two more stages to go. Rozzie Ryan qualified from the Pacific League, but it doesn't look like she will be taking up the invitation. Yvonne Losos de Muniz and Tanya Seymour should be the favorites for the wild cards dedicated towards the non-league athletes. One more spot is reserved for the hosts, but looks like that one will be reallocated to the Western Europe (good news for Barbancon...). Pacific League spot could also end up in the Western Europe, which would be grand for Zweistra... There are 18 slots available in total...
  13. Not that major events have much meaning for teams like Croatia, but this edition was even worse than Pyeongchang.
  14. Western European League, Stage 9 (Neumunster, Germany) Isabell Werth (Weihegold OLD) - 86.810% Helen Langehanenberg (Damsey FRH) - 83.825% Judy Reynolds (Vancouver K) - 82.750% Full results... WEL Standings...
