  1. Minderhoud first to break 80%
  2. Troy Doris in triple jump final
  3. Very well done indeed. She probably lost a place or two because of that canter pirouette, but not bad at all!
  4. Looks like Patrik Kittel made a change to his music just before Olympics. Usually he had Stevie Wonder mix with this horse. Makes some mistakes in flying changes though.
  5. Yeah, horse changed to canter by mistake twice. There was also a mistake in flying changes every second stride. It's nice to see Bigwood here nevertheless. She is riding with eye patch because she still sometimes has double vision following a horrible fall two years ago.
  6. Kasprzak impresses with her Phil Collins music Pitty for mistakes in changes though! She gets 76.875%
  7. Steffen Peters 79%, very strong score to start!
  8. So we have to believe that both of those Armenians have run 23.20 to qualify for the Olympics... Both went over 25 seconds in the heats
  9. She also has the honour to be the first athlete from to compete at the Olympics!
  10. Pichardo DNS in triple jump!
  11. Looks like many balls at this stage get challenged

  13. We have start list for today. Reynolds got the best possible draw, gonna be a great moment for her to compete here. First to go Steffen Peters will surely cause much laughter with his dressage-related rap music towards the end of the performance. "...I go crazy when I see those people in the high hats that play through dressage, I wanna roll and it's time to passage. Nice. Yo man, let's get outta here"
  14. Ivan Kljaković-Gašpić is 3rd going into medal race, but has only 5 points in bag. He had 12 points lead after 9 races but wasn't good in 10th race, I'm not too confident about his chances.
  15. Well, there seem to be some empty parts, definitely towards the end, but yeah it was a solid attendance. I wouldn't call it main, rather most popular
  16. I didn't watch whole competition so can't really tell, although Germany and Brazil seemed to be the best. But, first jumping competition at Olympics is usually much easier than those to come, so this competition was almost some kind of warm-up. France and Netherlands faced some surprisnig eliminations/disqualifications though, but it doesn't hurt them that much teamwise. Eliminated/disqualified riders can still compete for a team, but their individual chances are gone.
  17. Yay, lost the bronze medal match... Our very good medal hope also finished 9th in shooting qualification today (because of stupid centers!!) + I have a big headache so I guess I'm calling it a night.
  18. Brazilian team was excellent today in the first jumping competition, maybe that will bring a couple of people to Deodoro in next days Anyway, Nestor Nielsen is the hero of the day
  19. That would be cool Rulebook apparently says that dead heat happens when two or more boats cross the finish line in the same time. Hundredths of a second are used as time reference and everything within one hundredth is declared as dead heat. In case of dead heat all sides get same placing. They also found an example from World junior championships when that rule was applied and two medals of the same color were handed,
  20. Our Olympic committee is appealing over the photo finish in men's single sculls. Also, accoring to FISA's own rulebook, Drysdale and Martin should have both won gold apparently.
  21. Does anyone who follows know why challenge wasn't allowed in Starčević's semifinal? It seemed very weird to me though I'm no expert.
  22. It was utterly disgusting in my opinion. Huge roar when Brazilian rivals make mistakes (and during their performances too!)...
