"From May to September, 13 series meetings will be staged across 12 different countries in four different continents, with athletes competing for a place in the Wanda Diamond League Final. 
Each meeting will take place in a two-hour TV world programme and will stage 14 Diamond disciplines (events in which athletes compete for Diamond League points). The disciplines featuring in each of the meetings will be announced later this month.
At the end of the 13 meetings, the athletes with the most points in each Diamond discipline will qualify for a place in the WDL Final in Zurich, where all 32 Diamond League Champions will be crowned in a two-day season finale. 
Seven finals will take place as street events in Zurich’s historic city centre on Wednesday, 8th September, with the remaining disciplines held in the Letzigrund Stadium as part of a three-hour world feed programme on the following day. Both days will be broadcasted live on TV.
 
In addition to its commitment to equal prize money for male and female athletes across the series, WDL 2021 will also introduce a new award for outstanding performers in 2021.
A 500,000 USD bonus pot has been set aside for “Best Performing Athletes” -- those who deliver consistent, high-level performances throughout the season. There will be ten award winners in total -- one male and one female athlete respectively in the sprints, hurdles, distance events, jumps and throws.
 
Following a planned reduction in the number of disciplines for 2020, the series returns to a full programme of 32 disciplines in 2021. The triple jump, the discus, the 200m, the 3000m steeplechase and the 5000m will be reinstated.
To better promote the field events in an action-packed two-hour schedule and give them their own stand-alone moments of focus and drama, a qualifying round followed by a final will be introduced for the long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin and discus. This new format, called The Final 3, will mean that the three athletes with the longest jumps and throws in the qualifying rounds will come together in a final where all previous results will be cleared as they compete for first, second and third place..."

Ema Rajic je prosli vikend plivala 1.08.17 na 100m prsno. To je osobni rekord, još 1 sekundu od A norme. Ipak trenutno to je najbolji zenski rezultat u Hrvatskoj, a kako ćemo dobiti jednu kvotu ako nitko ne ispuni A normu, trenutno tu kvotu dobila bi ona. Dosad je najbolja bila Ana Herceg na 200m ledjno. 

Zlato za Barbaru Matić na Judo GS u Budimpešti. 1000 bodova i veliki korak prema Tokiju. 
i skinula je prve tri sa zadnjeg SP.

Rezultate mozes zaboravit, jer je nakon par disciplina bio pljusak i stalno je kiša padala. Tolj npr je bacila jednom da uzme nešto bodova za ekipu i onda odustala, da se ne bi ozlijedila na skliskom bacalištu. Dalj (M) je bio jedna od disciplina prije kiše. 

danas baca Sara Kolak, tu su i Ana Šimić i Ivan Horvat. A i vrijeme bi trebalo biti bolje.

Even though it was initially reported by HINA (on paper the most reliable source of news out there), it appears as though the child is not dead, but critical.

I'm currently in Zagreb, and it was a quite strong one, threw me out of my bed at 6:30 am. Luckily no serious damages.

yeah, and it was a real tough one...5.4 followed by another at 4.6, very early in the morning...
 
right now, they say there's 1 dead man and a few severely hurt people...
 
an entire palace in the city center went down and damages are consisted in the old historical part of the city...
 
the virus troubles were not enough...now also this disaster...Nature might be really angry for the lack of respect and the stupidity of human beings to hit that hard...
 
 
one last, but probably the most important thing to say...I feel very sorry for all our Croatian friends, especially those who we always read here on the forum @dcro @prso1000 @Crolympic @crovitlaci and all the others...

personally I think if they can't have the last OQT in France (or anywhere else) that means the situation is still very bad in May and I don't think we will have the Olympics in July. and if they postpone the Olympics itself, there will be enough time to have all these qualifiers.
 
but in case they want to count the ranking to qualify 3 more athletes per weight, this will be the list of qualifiers
 
it will be good for Egypt, Turkey and Kazakhstan, interestingly Turkey will have a full 8 member team !
