Čo sa týka SR, tak to je dosť slušný brutal, nielenže sme vyslali najmenšiu výpravu v dejinách (5 z toho 4 chodci..) ale jediná atletka ani nedobehla rozbeh šeftréner jej to následne aj dal dosť vyžrať https://www.atletika.sk/zradne-prekazky-ledecku-v-eugene-do-semifinale-nepustili/

 

Pravdou však je že naši sa hlavne sústredia na ME, kde už snaď budú fit aj tí naši kvalitnejší borci na čele so Zapletalovou, inak je to naozaj dosť bieda...

Asi podle očekávání. Celkový dojem dopadne podle toho, kolik hodí Jakub Vadlejch a na co to bude stačit.

It looked like some external French company was handling the election. It semmed they never organized a vote before, honestly. An amateur hour.

Right after the election, I thought the chances of weightlifting being dropped from Paris 2024 increased quite a lot.

With Urso eventually beating Quinonez by one vote in the online run-off for Secretary General, and the top 3 officials being Jaloud, Urso, and Papandrea, I think the outcome is eventually closer to what IOC probably wanted to see. I think IWF might get the final final chance.

BTW, IWF website is hacked.

well from what i hear from weightlifting experts , his 1st attempt was OK , jury didn't overturn this "wrong" decision. his 2nd attempt was a foul , refs somehow wrongly accepted it but jury overturned the decision. even his 2nd attempt could be a "good lift" but his 1st attempt was good lift for sure.

I'll just say, from the referee's perspective, that IMO there were grounds for a 'no-lift' decision in all three of Salimi's lifts. Tough call either way. And true, Salimi's 2nd was slightly better than the 1st.

Having said that, I think that Seim's 2nd lift was good and should have passed, since the movement was in the shoulders exclusively.

Let's hope the push for video review is finished before the next Olympics.
