The results system is also kinda missing an additional stage. Shouldn't there be a stage 2 for the mixed team rifle in the results system? Usually it goes like this: Stage 1 [3 series] -> Top8 qualifies -> Stage 2 [2 more series] -> Top4 qualifies for the medal matches Stage 2 is missing here...

The system is only assigning "Q" marks for teams that competed in the first half. They probably need to refresh the marks.

And we still don't have any shooting quotas. I swear we are cursed if we will fail again here in the individual events.

Yeah, I never know how to count that one because at the Olympics you got one combined event instead of the separate Tech and Free. Honestly, I think it's bullshit that they have Tech and Free medals at the Euros and the World, for once the SOG program makes much more sense to me. I just don't understand why they get medals for each routine. Imagine if figure skating would do the same, it would make no sense.

Martial arts dancing is back.

I mean, it's 50. "anything" is possible. So yeah, we got some chances, but we don't have locked down medals like at previous Worlds.

Does anyone here know anything about BMX park? I just noticed that we got two Hungarians in the men's final. Do we actually have a legit chance to win an Olympic quota in BMX?

I must say, the Hungarian team is looking promising before the WCh in Budapest. Maybe we will have a great WCh (relative to our mediocre level).

Btw, I think it's safe to say that this will be the first World Championships since 2007 where won't win any swimming gold medals. We might actually not win any medals in the pool without Milák. This might become a very depressing time for Hungarian swimming, our only hope is Hubert Kós.

And it just got worse... Milák won't be at the World Championships, he will skip the entire event He said that he doesn't feel prepared for the event, both mentally and physically. Something went very wrong this year with his training. Probably the worst news we could have received one year before Paris. It will be very hard for him to return to the same top level. One or maybe two gold medals for Hungary gone. He's the MVP of the entire Hungarian Olympic team, he's our star athlete, so as you can imagine this won't go down well in Hungary.

Is it just me, or beach handball looks very silly with those "spinning goals"? Compared to beach volleyball this just doesn't seem like a serious sport at all. If you have to introduce "style points" in a team sport, maybe the entire concept of that sport is kinda flawed.

Still very low attendance everywhere. Hopefully we will see more people tomorrow at the medal events because if not...

Men's K4 500m is ridiculously close... It was a huge mistake to cut the Olympic distance in half, now everyone is within 0.1-0.2 sec, which means that the event feels like a giant clusterfuck where you need luck to win. Even or can miss the Olympic Games in this event, the fight for the quotas will be insane.

Lol, I switched to that match at 90+5 after our match ended, literally said "okay, watch Serbia score now", and 10 seconds later it happened. Like clockwork.

They really need to introduce something like this for the broadcast as well. It would make this event far more easier to follow, you would know how each team is actually performing.

Márton wins, but that wasn't promising for the WCh, she's obviously nowhere near the level she was during the 2010s. Hopefully she will improve, otherwise we won't see her in the WCh final.
