    Hi @Prashanth, can you please explain the difference between TOPS Group and Development Group because in Development Group there are few names like Lakshya Sen, Naman Tanwar, Kenan Chenai, Soumyajit Ghosh who are quite active at the senior international level

    Huge qualification for . Qualified in sailing for first time since 2008, and first time qualified in more than 1 event

    Top 10 boats participate in medal and points earned are double the rank. For example a sailor finishing in 3rd earns 6 points. The sailor with least accumulated points wins

    Why aren't North Koreans participating in any sports events, even Olympic qualification events

    We should target a contingent size of 135 in 2024 and 150 in 2028. That would mean more participation in potential sports like Swimming, Rowing, Weightlifting; while try 1-2 qualification in new sports like Fencing, Sailing and Cycling. Team sports qualification other than Hockey doesn't look likely in the near horizon

    With respect to Sailing, is it just one case or is it systematic. Because the Indian sailors in other events are quite good with likes of Nethra Kumanan, Harshita Tomar and Vishnu Saravanan.

    With the Indian Grand Prix and Federation Cup providing some qualifications and vital ranking, what competitions are athletes looking now especially the likes of Hima Das, Jinson Johnson, Vismaya, Men and women 4x400 m relay, Women 4x100 m relay (they are in 19th rank surprisingly) etc. Is everyone targeting the National Athletics Championship starting from 25 June, which is inside the qualifying period

    With Saina winning to move to quarterfinals and Ashwini-Sikki pair already there due to withdrawal they will improve their points tally and ranking. Saina will not face a seed until the semis so it's s golden opportunity yo earn points

    With Suthasini Suwettabut qualifying via World Singles Qualification Tournament, it also nearly confirms 2 quotas for India in Women's Singles. So unless if the other girl doesn't qualify from Southeast Asia, which is highly unlikely, India gets 2 quotas

    Thanks for the info. I thought points were cumulative. Then can we see which 10 results are accounting for the points. Does Kidambi, Saina, Ashwini-Sikki pair, Satwik-Ashwini have realistic chances of qualifying. Satwik-Ashwini have just played 10 tournaments so if they have decent results they can climb the rankings

    Can anyone help me in understanding Badminton Rankings for Olympics. Those players who were eliminated in first round of Swiss Open didn't receive any ranking points and points in Week 10 (9 Mar 2021) is same as in Week 18 (28 April 2020)

    I meant 2 overall per Singles event, either male or female. So since Canada already qualified 1 player for both genders then can only qualify 1 more per gender
