  1. I guess all except swimming, artistic gymnastics, surf, basketball, football, volleyball, beach volleyball, road cycling, men baseball, tennis and golf. In athletics, rowing and canoeing it's only USA and Canada not taking the best but they are the dominant countries in those sports.
  2. Athletics: Chiaraviglio has done nothing this season. I don't even expect a medal from him unless the favorites fail. Casetta's event is very random sometimes, that's why I don't predict gold, but it's possible. Pelota: we're favorite for both trinquete events but I don't think for any other? Beach volley: Brazil and USA will come with their z teams, medals are possible. Boxing: Leonela Sanchez is current pan panamerican champion, right? It's terrible how we failed in the qualification. Football: we can't even find 18 players for the men's team, we won't win a medal here... the women don't have Banini she's like 70% of the team. Rugby: USA is coming with the B team. Still, sevens is unpredictable. Surf: Brazil won't have the best surfers. But when I made this prediction I didn't know that Muñiz was out of competition for 6 months. Yes, probably nothing here then... Volleyball: our B team is very good and should beat everyone except Brazil B team. I don't know Cuba, they play the olympic qualifiers too but maybe they will bring their A team here since they have 0 chance vs Russia or Iran. In any case our team will get a bronze at least. USA participates too but they always bring a university team here.
  3. It's not historic lol, Perú has beaten China many times in the past in different categories. This Chinese generation seems to be very weak, they lost all friendlies last week and also did very poor in the u18 two years ago. I predict the second place of this pool will finish 8th in overall rankings.
  4. I haven't seen any actual skater or even people that dress like skater since I was at school, so like 2005...
  5. I still remember the times when we used to win medals in speed skating...
  6. I have a question: do friendlies still count for world ranking?
  7. It's won't change anything. USA, Mexico and Costa Rica just get to save travel money from the meaningless early rounds. That's it.
  8. Generalova must be good in the all-around. Ok, I'll see myself out
  9. Wait, everyone in the top 6 of copa america predicted Brazil to win 2-0? lol
  10. A correction: that guy got injured and won't be in Lima. One of the guys we sent here will replace him, but not the one that placed highest Thankfully the quota was secured here...
  11. It makes no sense to have USA and Japan participating in this. Especially USA what's stopping them from sending a high school team?
  12. Brazil up again. Still boring, one lucky penalty wasn't going to change it.
  13. Boring final, Peru doesn't have the level to challenge Brazil in any aspect. I wish Uruguay, Chile or Colombia would be playing here instead.
  14. I'm not saying the same as konig. I'm not saying the referees are pro-Brazil, I said they have been anti-argentina (for political reasons or whatever). Today's red card is ridiculous. No referee sends off players for a little chest bump. Many don't even show yellow card and just talk the players down. What this guy did is a circus act.
  15. Lol conmebol is so obvious. Messi protested about the referees last game and today they sent him off for NO reason. Also our federation sent a protest letter to them during the week for the robbery against Brazil and the argentine referee who is the highest rated in south america (was in the world cup final) won't whistle the final. Very obvious punishment for the protest hahaha.
  16. 6th place again. This man will never not flop in a final
  17. 123 just for a shoot-off, that's very high level.
  18. Our best laser sailor didn't even bother coming here. He's putting all the eggs in the Lima basket.

  22. Lol a lot of journalists yesterday were already hyping them as the new "golden generation" and they do this. It's a pity, it was a great chance of a semifinal after many years.
  23. Stepping on a foot isn't an "auto yellow", especially not if you don't even see who you're stepping on (Aguero didn't see Dani Alves in any moment, he was looking the other way while running). I don't think the coach should go now. The team started to play better last two games and he has found a formation. Changing coach would be starting all over again and there aren't any real great options available for the job. I think he should stay, at least until next year's tournament.
  24. ^Our team also lost like that to Menegatti-Orsi, they were 14-12 up in the third, Italy scored their reception point and then made 3 consecutive sharp serves to win the game...
