  1. 6th place again. This man will never not flop in a final
  2. 123 just for a shoot-off, that's very high level.
  3. Our best laser sailor didn't even bother coming here. He's putting all the eggs in the Lima basket.

  7. Lol a lot of journalists yesterday were already hyping them as the new "golden generation" and they do this. It's a pity, it was a great chance of a semifinal after many years.
  8. Stepping on a foot isn't an "auto yellow", especially not if you don't even see who you're stepping on (Aguero didn't see Dani Alves in any moment, he was looking the other way while running). I don't think the coach should go now. The team started to play better last two games and he has found a formation. Changing coach would be starting all over again and there aren't any real great options available for the job. I think he should stay, at least until next year's tournament.
  9. ^Our team also lost like that to Menegatti-Orsi, they were 14-12 up in the third, Italy scored their reception point and then made 3 consecutive sharp serves to win the game...
  10. The second goal of Brazil starts directly from a possible foul and penalty on Agüero (he gets triped by Dani Alves inside the area). Few minutes later there was a clear elbow of Arthur on Otamendi during a corner. The first one is debatable (I think it is a pen though). The one of Arthur is an scandal. It's unbelievable that VAR didn't even ask the ref to watch it. Anyway, my consolation is that I got perfect prediction points from this.
  11. You know i'm not the type to say positive things about our team but Argentina was better than Brazil today and got screwed by the referee (two penalties that VAR ignored for whatever reason). That being said, Brazil has world class players, better than ours, and that's why they scored two goals against the run of play and won.
  12. New world ranking is out (http://fih.ch/rankings/outdoor/ ), some big changes: -Belgium climbs 4 places to reach 9th. -Canada climbs 3 places to reach 18th. -Chile surpassed South Africa in 15th place (and, in theory, kicks them out of pot 3 of the seeding. Only the continental championships to go before we get the final seeding for the play-off draw. Belgium is now in pot 2 of the seeding and will likely remain there (which would be a relief for Spain, Ireland and India given the high level of the belgian team in the recent women's pro league). IMO the biggest battle will be at the pan american games, with Chile trying to hold their 2nd place in the continent in order to keep those vital points of advantage over South Africa in the ranking (naturally, I'm assuming here that Argentina will win the competition and that South Africa will win and then refuse the quota from their continent). Beware of Canada however, a 2nd place at the pan am games could also see them climb to 15th. 15th place is important because it's likely going to be the cut for pot 3 of the play-off seeding. If you're in pot 4 you'll likely get to play one of GB, Germany or New Zealand, which would be too tough a task for these teams I think.
  13. New world ranking is out (http://fih.ch/rankings/outdoor/ ), some big changes: -Pakistan fell to 17 and China to 18 (with this they both would in theory drop to the lowest pot for the play-off seeding). -England is now 6th surpassing Germany. -France and South Africa climb to 13 and 14 (with this they both climb to pot 3 for the play-off seeding). Only the continental championships to go before we get the final seeding for the play-off draw. IMO the only big battle that could decide a major change in this ranking is between England and Germany (they are very few points apart). 6th place is important cuz it's the position that could be the cut for pot 1 in the play-offs (assuming Argentina and Australia do they work in their continental). Pakistan's dropout from pro league has costed them vital points. Maybe an olympic play-off with India looming on the horizon...
  14. I noticed there also isn't any serbia post in the previous thread, don't be shy. I'll try: Water polo M Volleyball W (men outside chance) Djokovic Basketball M (women outside chance) Basketball 3x3 M Kayak K2-1000 & K1-200 men, K1-200, K1-500 & K2-500 women Judo Men -90 Wrestling (Stefanek, Nemes, Kajala) TKD women -49, +67 Karate kumite women -61 Shooting pistol 10m men, women, mixed Athletics women long jump I don't know if I missed anything (maybe rowing?). Serbia should really win at least 10 with this chances, most of them are pretty solid.

  16. 0 to 5. No one is certain of a medal but the following are currently ranked top 5 in their respective sports/events: Hockey M & W, Judo W -48, Sailing Nacra, Swimming W 1500FR. There is also outside chances in the following: Rugby 7 M, Shooting skeet M, Sailing Finn, Taekwondo M -58. I would include Del Potro here but he got injured again (I'm sure he will make another glorious comeback though).
  17. They also have a pretty good 4×100 I think. I meant "crazy good" more on a pan american level (given the proximity of the games) rather than olympic/world medal level.
  18. It's amazing how much this dude has progressed, he wasn't particularly great before Rio, now he's throwing top ten all-time distances. Brazil athletics in general has gotten crazy good these last two years.
  19. Semifinals set: Brazil - Paraguay Argentina - Chile Starting in around 2hs, there is stream in Facebook as stated before but also on YouTube if you search the chile rugby channel.
