  1. And now Finland for a needed change
  2. Moldova worst live so far.
  3. And the Spanish snooze fest after the Icelandic joke
  4. Best so far: & A cheap one euro Lady Gaga imitator 2nd worst entry overall, just because Germany’s entry is a total turd & dissapointing performances on stage
  5. I dhare your thoughts. In men’s 68kg I think the other SF will be v.
  6. Tomorrow’s team rounds should be very interesting to check on the progress of the teams participating at last stage against those that miss it. We could start defining the favorites for Tokyo, although men’s competition will be quite basically everyone’s game.
  7. So sorry to see lame acts like and have a free pass to the finals just because they maintain the contests financially From SF1 I was sad that and didn’t qualify, mostly on their own stage failures, but instead that boring cheesy act and the woman that only sings about sluts, instead of actual admirable smart women, get a pass instead For SF2, I’ll be cheering for and guilty pleasure . Pray that stays out so they can stop imitating Colombia entering bums that can’t sing instead choosing people that know what a note is. Overall, here is my top 10: 10) 9) 8) 7) 6) 5) 4) And the 3 I would like to win 3) 2) 1)
  8. I think so too. She’s been very inconsistent after Rio, often hitting 7 & 6, which of course left her last in consideration for making the team. I was also impressed and proud with the other girls, and I hope Valencia can serve as a mentor to the other two girls. Right now it seems Mexican women are a shoe in for a team spot.
  9. Wow those are some fast times for 10,000 meters
  10. Groups for the Americas Qualifier Top two teams from each group to advance to a Super Round. My picks for the Super Round:
  11. Unless a National Championship takes place in the next 2 weeks, rankings for Men’s 50km should be final as of today.
  12. Great work for Mayan Oliver achieving a second quota in women’s competition. Our men, after a bronze medal performance in Rio, are likely to miss out for the first time in 40+ years, as they all three screwed up heavily (like in 2019 Pan American Games) and now depend on at least one of them finishing top 12 finish at World Championships and pray other contenders miss the final.
  13. I think Kuwait gets the unused host quota in men’s single sculls, as they actually competed and finished 13th place at the Asian qualifiers, one position ahead of the Kuwaiti female rower (14th), who due to rules can’t take the spot. In an irony, as the women’s host quota couldn’t be awarded to any other Asian or Oceania nation, it will get reassigned to the next best competitor in the final qualifier, like they did in LW2x. And guess what? It goes back to Japan
  14. Doubles title for Giuliana Olmos / Sharon Fichman
  15. 8th race underway. If Cardona finishes 5 places ahead of Bugarin the quota is his.
  16. USATF Golden Games - 5000m Women Julie-Anne Staehli 15:02.34 Laura Esther Galvan Rodriguez 15:02.48 -NR @Braulio @RiSeGwangFan Natalia Hawthorn 15:05.91 Jessica Judd 15:06.02 19th qualified competitor in Athletics.
  17. Hahaha, well many athletes are trying to double their options. In any case he may enter both races, and a few days before, he can decide in which one he feels a better opportunity for a great result.
  18. USATF Golden Games Justyn Knight 3:33.41 - 1500m
  19. Great 12th place for Campuzano Sadly Ulloa is not having a good race today.
  20. Yes that’s the squad. And García did get injured, after all she’s a veteran. But with Canadian team getting cut before time, I don’t think any of these women could end with a better note than a Brazilian or Argentinian gymnast.
  21. Yeah, as of lately, everything is reducing to the angle they enter the water and the amount of the splash, while in principle every other element you mentioned should be considering (plus a proper and solid handstand in 10m, not the shaky, unsecure they do as of now)
  22. Yes, we have a pretty mediocre women's team right now, except for Moreno whose current form is unknown to me, as to tell if she will make the final in Tokyo. I think Mexico will be in contention with De Luna if he is in his best shape. The other gymnast are real bad.
  23. Well, 2 wrestlers already qualified, and nothing else for Mexico after those terrible draws.
  24. You may be joking, but the judges were not. Except for his 4th and 6th round dives, every other execution was far from the notes awarded. Same case for Goodfellow, today he wasn't as clean as yesterday, yet he was not penalized as he should when he failed, especially during the last dive. The opposite was the case for Down-Jenkins who saw of his executions undeservedly scores. BTW, congratulations to García Boissier for making it to the finals. He had very clean executions, and if not for the degree of difficulty, he could very well challenge for a medal.
  25. Entries by event for the Final Qualification Regatta Sadly, and idiotically at the same time, no rowers for Mexico They could have had a slight chance in men’s single sculls and lightweight single sculls
