  1. Defending Olympic Champion Yui Ohashi will not be defending her women’s 400m individual medley title (mind you it was always a tough task with McIntosh)
  2. Standings After Day 3 Team Tirinzoni (5-0) Team Homan (4-0) Team Constantini (4-0) Team Dupont (4-1) Team Gim (3-1) Team Peterson (2-3, 1-0) Team Rørvik (2-3, 1-1) Team Hasselborg (2-3, 0-1) Team Turmann (1-4, 1-0) Team Yıldız (1-4, 1-0) Team Ueno (1-4, 1-1) Team Smith (1-4, 1-2) Team Morrison (1-4, 0-1)
  3. Draw 8 Results 8 - 1 10 - 3 11 - 5 9 - 10 led 5-2 after five ends, and 9-7 after nine ends, but unfortunately couldn’t produce the victory
  4. Actually I believe they’re currently in 7th. 2-3 along with United States and Norway but United States beat Norway, and Norway beat Sweden. By my count that would mean United States would be 5th (2-3, 1-1), Norway 6th (2-3, 1-0), and Sweden 7th (2-3, 0-1)
  5. Team Homan defeats Norway 9-4, to improve to 4-0! As previously mentioned, two very important games against Switzerland and Italy tomorrow, two wins would most likely qualify us for the playoffs (There’s still plenty of games to go, but with our easy remaining schedule it should be enough)
  6. Not that surprising honestly. Great Britain’s women’s team isn’t what it used to be (however the loss to New Zealand, and the big losses to Denmark, Italy, and Sweden are concerning), while Japan is essentially sending their C-team. Sweden also outside of a qualifying position at 2-3 is the most shocking outcome so far, but when you consider that they’ve had a really tough early schedule, losing to very good teams in Canada, Italy, and to a lesser extent Norway it’s wasn’t out of the realms of possibility (I was expecting them to at least beat one of them though). I expect them to pick it up throughout the rest of the round robin.
  7. I’ll probably do swimming later, but without it that’s 255-269 athletes in 28/29 sports.
  8. Draw 7 Results 10 - 7 9 - 4 10 - 3 9 - 4 records their first win of the event!
  9. Draw 6 Results 7 - 8 8 - 2 9 - 2
  10. Bronze also in the women’s relay!
  11. Carlos Alcaraz defends his Indian Wells title, defeating Daniil Medvedev 7-6 (5), 6-1 (nothing against Carlos, I’m a Meddy fan lol)
  12. Standings After Day 2 Team Homan (3-0) Team Tirinzoni (3-0) Team Constantini (3-0) Team Gim (2-1) Team Dupont (2-1) Team Peterson (2-2) Team Morrison (1-2, 1-0) Team Yıldız (1-2, 1-0) Team Ueno (1-2) Team Rørvik (1-2, 0-1) Team Smith (1-2, 0-1) Team Hasselborg (0-3) Team Turmann (0-3)
  13. Draw 5 Results 5 - 7 9 - 3 6 - 5 8 - 2

  16. Game pretty much over. are going to Paris. Congrats @lapaj
  17. Still undefeated after day 2, with a 10-6 win over United States to move us to 3-0!
  18. Draw 4 Results 12 - 4 6 - 4 10 - 6 6 - 4 Team Hasselborg starts 0-3 (ok they did have a tough opening couple of matches… but I was expecting at least one win)
  19. Draw 3 Results 8 - 7 9 - 6 4 - 10 8 - 6
  20. Mary-Sophie Harvey records a 4:36.79 400 IM at the Giant Series! About a half second away from her PB, and puts her into firm contention for the second Olympic spot (behind McIntosh of course)
  21. I still can’t believe this team won the Japanese Trials…
  22. For me South Africa for men, and China for women. But I’d be more than thrilled with Great Britain qualifying.
  23. Hopefully. As much as I love Spain (and all of our Spanish users on here), all of the team quotas obtained by them so far throughout this Olympic Qualification period has me actively root against them. I’d rather a team like Great Britain (three team quotas) or South Africa (two team quotas) qualify. Plus, as a neutral fan (that and knowing that Canada has no chance at qualifying) I’d rather see the best team at an event like the Olympics, and right now South Africa is at a level above the other two.
