Aww this is bad. Huge mass gathering during the pandemic is a bad idea.

A similar thing may happen in India thanks to over 2000 people all over India and foreigners attending a mosque congregation on March 10.Already 10 dead from there.

Panama can't qualify. It was already eliminated.

They're free to do what they want. But at the end of the day, it's a popularity contest who wins the right to host these events. And those who vote and make the decisions will usually do so in their own self-interests. So if a country like Australia were to propose to hold the 2032 Olympics in a different month because that's better for them, they may not win the rights to host the event in the first place. So that's how they need to be thinking.

The newspapers I read had either May or June or July, though some prefer July- Aug most Nonetheless what big deal if it's held in June . Marathon can be held in Tokyo itself. NBC is not organizing the games. Expecting 2032 games in April or Sept-October if Australia wins which is likely. So NBC has no option but to listen. There shouldn't be any discussion about dates between NBC and IOC.

It's the usual technique here in India. Not that it's just few cases, it's the same situation in 90% places. The Indian Police is really horrible. You give them good money they will not beat you.
On a serious note condition is very critical in most Indian places. There were videos of people fighting like cats and dogs for food, gas cylinder etc. Another thousands of people will die of hunger and starvation which will never go reported. Community spread has happened anyways and we will be in stage 4 soon. Government will cover up many cases and so will the private hospitals (already happening ).

Me too. I am against the part of beating. Doing some exercise still alright. Somehow I guess those people in India are quite obstinate type. So I guess lolice have no choice but to use force on them and beat them up.

I'm against beating or asking money. If they are travelling for no reason they can be asked to do some exercise or make a video to stop corona virus there itself

I guess there is no choice for India. It is very difficult to do mass testing like South Korea in India. Lockdown is one of those ways to contain the virus. In South Korea there is no lockdown but they only implement mass testing to detect the patients early.

That's for Hyderabad and few cities
I'm from Karnataka in the Udupi District and all districts here except Bengaluru the capital, and few others are completely closed . It's a 24 * 21 lockdown of all groceries and pharmacies. No online grocery, no transport. Food is already in shortage.
