  7. Yes. What I really hate about her is what she said after she was banned for doping. She said something like: 'Using performance enhancing drugs is like driving your car too fast. After you have been booked, everything is fine and you continue to drive'. No sign of regret, no sign of hindsight at all. Seeing her competing makes me just sick.

  21. Due to security reasons the IOC now won't allow Jossimar Calvo to leave during the ceremony so it's been decided that Yuri Alvear (Judo 70k) will be the flagbearer tomorrow EDIT: We now reach a streak of 5 female flagbearers in a row (6 if we include the winter games) and no male flagbearers this century/millenium.

  26. It wasnt really the goal. At the beginning of each olympic period the federations get their funding according to the number of medals they won at the last olympics and then they make an "agreement" with DOSB about the number of medals they are "supposed" to win at the next olympic games with the money they get. 86 medals wouldve been the "goal" if all federations wouldve won the maximum number of medals, but no one in Germany expected that we could/would win 86 medals. This time our goal is to win at least as many medals as in 2012, so at least 44 medals. https://www.dosb.de/fileadmin/Bilder_allgemein/Veranstaltungen/Olympisch_Spiele_2016/Ziele_Rio_2016_25_04_2016.pdf https://www.dosb.de/fileadmin/Bilder_allgemein/DOSB_Start/olympia/praesentation_sotschi_rio_2.pdf By looking at the second link, you can see that DOSB expected 27-42 medals in Sochi, but no one would say that the goal was to win 42 medals. Thats just the number of medals that we couldve won in a perfect case. For the Rio olympics our "goal" is to win 42-71 medals (link 2, page 7). You could say that 71 is the number of medal contenders, predicted 4 years before the start of the games.

  30. No, Mollaei is already in Rio preparing for his competition, they probably gave Khojasteh's spot to someone in another weight, re-allocation in Judo works this way, they give the spot to the next eligible Judoka, no matter from which weight

  32. Somehow I like Morozov so I'd be sorry if he isn't there, but I really doubt anyone here (maybe apart from the Russian users, logically) would miss Efimova if she isn't there

  33. ahhahahahahahahah you only speak about Russia and Serbia on this forum. You are from Russia or Serbia maybe? Yes, you are. You are big fan of our countries.

  34. but really. I alredy had posts about Efimova here on this theard. Im not fan of her at all I was sorry only for Morozov. Because sprint disciplines with him could be much better.

  37. Guys to get a detailed times of all indian events all you need to do is go to google ( type India rio schedule and this will give you a detailed pop up which gives the exact accurate details ( done by the good people at google ) and also a day by day schedule you can also look at the option of atheletes click on whoever and you get when they will be in action ( this is a mind blowing feature ) also the site https://www.rio2016.com/en/schedule-and-results-day which is the official site gives you detailed schedules of activities This link gives you http://time.unitarium.com/rio-2016/#time the clock which gives you rio time and your local time

  39. Report on live streaming ( Only English ) on day minus2 of the olympics Yesterday ...Did a check on trying live stream videos for the Olympics as the womens football matches were on ( this was test for me as I am not planning to use TV at all and only use live streams ) Results 1. Live TV - Does not need any DNS /VPN options .../gave a lot of links with different languages and quality is OK but not fantastic ......Try this link out ....this seems to be a good default option for live streaming for Rio ..was able to see the live stream from NBC which had good english commentary , they do not have any specific arrangements for rio so at times you will have to search your event http://livetv.sx/en/allupcoming/ 2. CBC - Canadian broadcasting corporation - This is a truly excellent free to air channel was able to see the game / the video takes some time to load and video quality was good ...you would need a geoblocking software like hola ...I did it using hola and quality was good. what I loved was they seem to be having a lot of video of older events which can be watched - which is not available on other sites http://olympics.cbc.ca/ 3. Cricfree - This site has live streaming video of all major streams ...only slight issue was some cluttering ads and did seem to call in some popups ...but if you maniacially clear all ads before they start playing it seems to work you can pick and chose the channel , I did not find a clear resize button so the video was showing in a small screen and could not resize it ...but the advantage seems to be you can really pick and choose the channels and they also seem to have seperate button specifically to for Rio ( but the button is not working now maybe will work from today ?) http://www.cricfree.tv/ 4. BBC - Open to air ... very good quality of video and great commentary in english ...probably may become my default site ..you need a VPN or DNS option to watch ..I use hola and got good results . also has a great sub portal just for the olympics http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport 5. Sky TV - NZ - seems to require a seperate password so could not get through. I presume this channel is not free to air ( by the way if someone really wants to get the NZ point of view - cricfree seems to have the 6. Seven ( aus ) - official Australian free to air , could not get through live streaming but could see old videos 7. NBC - requires a password but possibly you can watch a slightly poor mans version on cricfree some surprises - did not find anything on youtube which was really sad ..............did not find anything on sportstream ( not sure why ) and also on batman stream may be I was missing out something guys if you have any more suggestions please add ( By the way i did not look at non english options - so I am sure there are many of them )

  42. the weight shown was 51.92 which is impossible, I quite sure that it's fake, the way she lift is clear that she lose her weight, not gain to add on, she join the competition as extra athelete, not compete for the medals, that's why the weight can be manipulated agree, even if we do not consider 200kg as serious, Sopita still be the biggest favorite I think TAWA plan for year about Sopita weight class, her weight is always 52+ until World Champ. 2015, it's down to 50.34, 2 kg drop but she book her new personal best at 210 kg btw, this is just a prediction from the information I have, we'll find out in only 3 days, wait and see
